Is this product waterproff?

I’ve only used it for finishing my tumblers. You can wash them by hand. You cannot put them in a dishwasher or leave them soaking. However there is no problem washing them under faucet. Hope this helps.

Can you use on canvas

You sure can. Just be sure to use extra thin coats. If going over acrylics, make sure they have thoroughly cured and we recommend sealing those with our clear glitter glue first.

Can it be cut & buffed

If necessary you can thin Brite Tone with CrystaLac Reducer/Retarder. It can also be buffed but we suggest that you let it cure up and harden first for a minimum of 2-4 weeks before buffing.

Could I use this with tumblers?

It is extremely easy to work with. I cannot see why it would not work on tumblers.
