Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli, 15 oz, 24 Pack

Pros:1. Pasta cooked slightly al dente, nearly perfect consistency. Pasta NOT thin OR overcooked.2. Sauce is truly outstanding, mouth-watering, rich, and so good,you find yourself drinking or spooning the sauce into your mouth, even if you have no ravioli left. It's THAT GOOD!3. Sauce is NOT overly spicy like the Chef BoyRD from 20+ years ago.4. Canned for long,long shelf life.5. Can easily opened. No need for can opener.6. A single 15 oz. can should be more than a meal for most women and children.7. Long shelf life W/O the need for preservatives.8. Ravioli Pasta and filling are in nearly perfect proportion to one another, along w/sauce.9. Almost half the price/oz. as the microwaveable 7.5 containers.10. From the paper to the container, everything in which it's packed can be recycledCons:1.Very rarely (1 in 24 or so) you'll find one with a slightly watery sauce.2. SOOOO darn good, I find myself wanting it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and occasionally even a snack so it makes it so I just about need to take certain vitamins.3. As the title says, I've become a Chef BoyRD Mini-Ravioli addict. In less than 2 weeks, I've eaten about 2 1/2 Cases of these 15 oz. bottles (56 I think), and a single case (24) of the 7.5 oz. cans, and I'm not done with them yet. I have 6 more cases on the way.4. The shipping is expensive, so if you're only reason to buy these is cost, check the cost of your local store and decide if the delivery cost is worth it for you. It is for me since I live on the 3rd floor of a condo which only has stairs, but that's the only REAL negative. I can find.Overall:Easily the best pre-prepared pasta I've ever had, and that includes Buitoni fresh pasta as well. I honestly am stunned at how good this is. As a prepper, I'm about to put in a 10 case order for storage purposes.

I grew up in the day when this was considered "haute" cuisine. I loved it as a child and I still love it as an adult. It's excellent as a quick lunch or dinner meal. The can is loaded with raviolis and I love their tomato sauce. I've been told the "secret" is they mix Parmesan cheese into the sauce. I know a lot of people turn their nose up at this simple, old-time canned pasta. It doesn't have a fancy name but when Chef Ettore Boiardi opened his restaurant in Cleveland in the 1920's, people clamored for his pasta sauce. It was considered that good. Chef Boyardee products have been going strong for a hundred years. I hope they make it another hundred years.

Always good to have a few cans of these beef ravioli, Never got a bad can and they're always good for an occasional meal. 50yr Customer;-)

There was acslight tin can after taste.

I am certain the recipe has been bastardized since my childhood. I find myself adding olive oil, basil, garlic, salt, red pepper flakes and then heating in the microwave 3 minutes in a bowl covered with a plate.

The media could not be loaded. Aside from the wonky, lovely, one-of-a-kind cans, the shipping was speedy and the cost is perfect for the amount. There are bound to be accidents wherever humans remain ourselves; no hard feelings; EBT availability for this product was the hook for me. (These are my favorite go to easy dinner since I was a kid; I personally like to finish the sauce off with a peanut-butter sandwich 😁)

Received with only two months to “best by” date.Hmm. I’m gonna have to eat a lot of it quickly or donate. Update:: some of these cans are severely dented.
