Reliable, Quiet, and Worth Every Penny
I’ve been using this power supply for a bit now, and it’s been rock solid. Installation was smooth thanks to the fully modular design—no cable spaghetti to wrestle with, which already makes it feel like a win right out of the box Performance-wise, it’s been consistent and quiet. Even under heavier loads, it doesn’t sound like it’s trying to take off, which is a huge plus if you care about a peaceful setup. The build quality feels premium, and everything from the cables to the unit itself gives off that this isn’t going to fail you at the worst possible moment vibe. If you’re putting together a system and want something dependable without second-guessing your choice later, this is a safe bet. No drama, no surprises—just clean, steady power doing its job.

Unexpectedly surprised
I feel like every single review I write for Amazon needs to be wasn't what I was expecting or this is exactly what I expected. Unfortunately this one is not what I was expecting, but it's not what I was expecting in a good way. This thing seems absolutely overbuilt. It's massive and awesome!.

Solid choice for your needs!
I recently upgraded to the Thermaltake GF1 1050W fully modular power supply, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Right out of the box, the build quality of the cables is impressive; they feel durable and sturdy, which gives me confidence in their performance. The cable length is also excellent, allowing for a clean and tidy setup in my case without any awkward bends. Installation was a breeze. The fully modular design meant I only had to connect the cables I needed, which simplified the process significantly. Everything fit perfectly, and I appreciated how easy it was to route the cables for optimal airflow. While the aesthetics of the power supply aren't particularly eye-catching, this isn't a deal-breaker for me. In my application, performance is key, and the GF1 delivers that in spades. It runs quietly and efficiently, providing stable power for all my components. Overall, I highly recommend the Thermaltake GF1 1050W for anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality power supply that excels in functionality over flashy looks. Five stars all the way!

I Trust Thermaltake
I'm an old time PC builder and have been building PCs my entire adult life. When it comes to PSUs, I just go with Thermaltake. Sure there are other quality brands out there, but it's just one of those decisions I make for myself. Always reliable, great instructions, plenty of modular cables to select the ones you need (while not needing to deal with those you don't), runs completely silent unless you decide to turn that feature off (easy external switch on PSU to do so). I wish it came in white; but that's not a reason to deduct a star from this excellent PSU. I always go a bit more on the PSU watts then I need (could have settled for a 650-750W PSU), but it's just something I don't cheap out on.

The fan has failed on my unit
This PSU does the job fine. Unfortunately, this PSU isn’t ATX 3.0/3.1 and does not have 12VHPWR, which should be a standard in 2024 as many GPUs now use that connector. Another negative I noticed is with the fan. The fan in this PSU isn’t exactly the best and is audible when operating. If you turn on the fan-stop feature, the fan won’t spin during low load and will spin during high load, but the issue is that the fan curve is based on temperature and the fan will keep turning on and off even if the system is under low load. It’s honestly better to turn off the fan-stop setting because when the fan starts up, it is loud so I don’t recommend using this PSU with the setting enabled. UPDATE November 2025: Built my PC in January with this PSU. As of November, the fan has completely failed and is making a ton of noise. Will never buy a Thermaltake PSU ever again.

Trusted friend advised to buy
My tech friend told me to buy this for my new build he was building for me. I personally don't know why he picked this one. I'm Giving 5 stars cause my friend wouldn't let my buy something that wasn't going to be quality. Been using this for months in the new build & all is good

Premium Price to Quality
Running an i7-12700KF and RTX 4070 Super with the Thermaltake GF1 850W—no issues at all. Super stable under load, dead silent most of the time, and the fully modular design made cable management easy. Build quality is solid. Great PSU for the price—definitely recommend for mid to high-end builds, I personally don't care about looks as psu is not visible in my case, PSU handles everything easily , No issues, It's one of the A tier psus, One of the best bangs for the buck.

Thermaltake GF1 850W PSU
Thermaltake is an old and trust brand. It's price also quite reasonable. This is my 3rd PC PSU that I ordered and it's warranty awesome for 10 years. It comes with whole bunch of cables, so you shouldn't miss anything for a ATX motherboard. Another reason is matter to me, Thermaltake's wrapping always please me. It's not stingy to the materials!
