Works great for what my application called for
I bought one set of these fans and I put them in my UTV, which is Honda it gets crazy hot in there totally enclosed so I drilled in the body around the rear windows and I drilled the appropriate size holes to mount them. Then I wired them to a switch that I can turn on when it gets really hot in there in the summer They move a lot of air and I highly recommend them if you’re looking to move a lot of air from one place to another with a 12 V fan

Holds up well in a wet and humid environment
I purchased these fans to install inside a custom bioactive terrarium setup. I needed waterproof fans, as the set up experiences weather, such as simulated rain storms. The fans were crucial for keeping mold or fungus from growing inside. It's been a couple months of using them inside a routinely wet and humid environment, they still run smooth and remain quiet, I cannot hear them unless I have every single thing in my house off. They are excellent value for your money, they are true to size, and come with installation screws for joining them, however I didn't use them. They do not come with a controller to connect too, so you will have to have to buy a controller if you don't have a computer to connect it too. Overall, I think it's compatible for any environment. Gecko approved 🎉

Powerful fan, but check your requirements
Didn’t work for my application but seems like a good fan. I needed a replacement cooling fan for the Alpicool refrigerator in my wife’s Jeep and I bought this unit at Amazon’s suggestion. I installed this fan and it powered up but then the controller for the fridge threw an error code and the unit shut off. Upon closer inspection I saw that the original fan pulls 0.3 amps and this one pulls 0.6 amps. Not a huge difference but enough to run afoul of the controller. Swapped it out for a different fan rated at 0.3 amps and now we’re back in business. So it seems like a decent fan depending on the application but it won’t work as a drop-in replacement in an Alpicool C40.
