Minna no Nihongo Shokyu I Dai 2-Han Honsatsu Kanji-Kana (Book & CD)

It was recommended to me by my tutor and it’s quite terrifying being all in Japanese but I’m looking forward to using it in my studies , so very appropriate and fits the purpose for my studies. A good txt book.The print is very small which does make it difficult to read though.

I use this book with my Japanese teacher. I got it before I started with her and was a bit lost as it is ALL in Japanese. But once I got over that initial shock, I found the book much more useful than duolingo. It goes into the grammar and more importantly into the connectors and which connector to use with what. My Japanese has improved so much already and we do one chapter a week together. Make sure you have a CD player or you find the soundcloud link for the audio tasks, as they really help with the listening abilities.

Advising everyone looking to buy this book: it's 99.9% in Japanese.I recommend it, no doubt, to assist a class with a Japanese teacher who can tell you what everything means, because it is a very good study material. Having some basics already when I got to this manual, I had no problems with it so far. It's a good textbook for covering the fundamentals of Japanese. Who in their right mind thought sticking the CD on the first page was a good idea though... why is that even necessary?

Excellent for learning. It promotes the sentence and grammar structures in the practice sections very well and makes you repeat them in different tenses as you work through the book. It is essential if you're starting to learn Japanese from this book that you are able to read hiragana and katakana and have the Minna no Nihongo English translation notes book also in case you need clarification on something. All in all a brilliant book to learn from.

Buy the two books together - really good, has improved my Japanese language skills.

Un autre indispensable pour le japonais , j’apprécie énormément ce livre ainsi que les autres de la même marque , ce livre est très pratique pour les cours en license je recommande formidable pour ceux qui veulent apprendre le japonais ou pour ceux qui sont en licence tout comme moi
