It truly works
This worked like a miracle on my Betta. He had clamped fins all over and hardly active. I isolated him, put fresh water every day, added measured drops per the instructions in the bottle and in 1 week - my betta’s fins became unclamped and healthy again and now my betta is fully active and well healthy. Thank you all the reviewers whose comments helped me to make the decision to try this out.

Good Product
There are some scare reviews on here. First, this medicine does not kill fish. It’s a leaf extract. It’s all natural and API is a trusted brand in aquatics for decades for a reason. Odds are, those persons treated their fish too late. Fin rot is fatal when it reaches the body. You would not have so many five star reviews if that were true.On to the medicine. It’s smells great, and it worked great. It’s easy to dose and works quickly. After the seven days of recommended treatment, the fish looks healthy and all is well.Enough said.

Good Betta Product
Bettas fins are longer and less fin tears. Would love if it came in a bigger bottle as I have an 8 gallon tank.#Amazonaffiliate#bettafish

Danger, Will Robinson!!!
1) this "heals" (I think) by irritating your fish until it produces a better slime coat 2) it IS an antibacterial/antimicrobial/antifungal for the water so if your water is scummy or full of algae, it will clear it up in 2 days. It will also kill your plants because it messes up the water balance. 3) if your Betta is on death's doorstep, do NOT use this. If you try it, do about 10% for 2 days to see how he tolerates it. The weaker the fish, the more likely this will kill him instead of helping 4) make D**NED sure you're water balance is PERFECT before adding 5) be aware that this will send your KH and TAL through the roof and mess with your pH, even in a perfect tank. MONITOR CLOSELY.I can't say never to use this. It really did clear up the bacterial biofilm on the surface of my tank for a while BUT I only used full dose on the 3rd day. Water parameters went psycho, after that. Betta quit eating... I hope he survives.I recommend finding a good Betta forum online before getting to desperate place. I believe that most Betta illnesses are a result of malnutrition, now. Ignore the employee at the Big Box store who says to give them one lekker every other day and feed them according to the directions on their food. Big Box starves them so the water in those cups doesn't get too dirty.I've lost 3 bettas that I think the cause was starvation or malnutrition from following Big Box advice (and waiting until they were nearly don't to try bettafix, as stated, they were too weak for it to do anything but stress them the rest of the way). I kept treating the symptoms in desperation, not knowing the cause. But seriously. Monitor CLOSELY if you try it. Start low dose. It has some benefits but don't use it to try to "save" a sick fish.

Damaged product
Product damaged. Leaked everywhere. More than a quarter of the bottle empty. The cap was not screwed on all the way. No safety seal to stop it from leaking everywhere.

saved my betta
The media could not be loaded. My betta was sick with swim bladder disease (and fin rot) after overfeeding :( she was constipated for days, lethargic, lost all her color and had no interest in playing or swimming. she could barely swim and would just float at the top of the water. I could tell she was in a lot of pain and I didn’t want to lose her, so i moved her into a small clear bottom hospital tank to monitor her recovery. Here’s what i did to make sure she made a full recovery.I fasted her for 3 days, no food. on the second day, I moved her out of her 10 gallon tank into this 0.9 gal tank (barely filled halfway). I kept the water temperature around 80 and fed her a quarter of a boiled, peeled pea on day 3. Then I began the betta fix treatment (on monday, pictured on left)By the next day, she finally passed a stool, which i immediately siphoned out of the tank with a large pipette. I continued the betta fix treatment daily (about 2 drops in the 0.5 gal water with 30% water changes every day)By thursday, (video on right) 4 days into the betta fix treatment, her color had returned, her new fin growth, the white at the end of her tails, were coming in nicely, she was more active and swimming, and much more interested in play when i would give her undivided attention: about 20 minutes of engaged time per day. This is my first review ever on Amazon after over 8 years of using this app, haha. But i say that to say betta fix can save your fish too if you’re diligent and attentive. follow the instructions well and understand that all the things like water quality, temperature and clarity will be essential to creating optimal conditions for your fish to make a healthy recovery.
