An excellent budget soundbar
I wasn't expecting much from this soundbar, but was looking for an inexpensive option to improve the sound quality for my bedroom TV. I got it on offer, so it was basically ยฃ60 and it is worth every penny. It does exactly what I wanted and it performs extremely well for a budget soundbar - sound is clear and the bass gives it a good rounded overall sound. By no means is the sound amazing (this isn't Dolby surround or anything near), but for the price, it's absolutely fantastic. What makes it an absolute bargain and really worth the purchase is the versatility of the product and the ease of setup. They provide you with everything you need to connect to your TV (or whatever) - I've gone with the optical cable, but they also provide other options such as the HDMI cable. The real winning feature is that it can be split in to two halves and placed as two speakers (in the stands provided) either side of the TV, or it can be fitted together to form a traditional soundbar that can be placed on a surface beneath your TV, OR they provide you with the necessary brackets to position the soundbar on the wall beneath the TV, OR you have the option of using the provided brackets to connect the two halves of the soundbar to the wall on either side of your TV. It's this versatility that really sets it above other budget soundbars and the fact that they provide you with every lead and brackets you could possibly need to set the soundbar up in whichever orientation and whichever connection you need for your setup. There is even the ability to connect a subwoofer (not supplied, but in other slightly more expensive versions you can get one) of your choice to the soundbar. I really can't find fault with this soundbar - yes there are better sounding ones out there, but not at such an affordable budget price as this one and often not with any of the provided leads and brackets included with this one. For my bedroom setup it's absolutely perfect and, whilst it has 32 volume levels, I've found that level 10 fills my bedroom with more than enough sound and going higher blows me away, without getting too tinny and still remaining remarkably clear.

Great value for money.
I recently purchased the ULTIMEA 2.2ch Sound Bars for my TV, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Hereโs my detailed review after a month of usage. Design and Build Quality The ULTIMEA sound bar boasts a sleek and modern design that blends seamlessly with my home entertainment setup. Its compact size is perfect for my living room, and the build quality feels solid and premium. The buttons and ports are conveniently located, making it easy to connect and control. Audio Performance Clarity and Depth What struck me the most about this sound bar is the clarity and depth of the audio. The 2.2 channel configuration, combined with the 100W peak power, delivers a rich and immersive sound experience. Whether Iโm watching movies, listening to music, or playing games, the sound quality is consistently excellent. Bass and Treble The built-in subwoofers provide a powerful bass that adds a lot of oomph to action-packed scenes and musical tracks. The treble is also well-balanced, ensuring that dialogue and higher frequencies come through crisp and clear. The sound bar handles a wide range of frequencies with finesse, making it suitable for various types of content. Ease of Use Setting up the ULTIMEA sound bar was a breeze. The package includes all necessary cables and a straightforward user manual. It supports both Bluetooth and wired connections, giving me flexibility in how I want to connect my devices. The remote control is intuitive and responsive, allowing me to adjust settings with ease. Value for Money Given the features and performance, the ULTIMEA sound bar offers excellent value for money. It competes with higher-priced models in terms of audio quality and build, making it a smart investment for anyone looking to enhance their TV viewing experience without breaking the bank. Final Thoughts Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with the ULTIMEA 2.2ch Sound Bars for TV. It has significantly improved my home entertainment setup, providing a superior audio experience that brings movies and music to life. I highly recommend this sound bar to anyone in search of an affordable yet high-quality audio solution.

Fantastic quality and easy-ish to install
Bought this as a present to myself after a rubbish week at work and well worth the money. The box looks like the item is premium and the build quality certainly doesn't disappoint. The voulme and bass is great and does exactly what I need it to do, just in time for the England game tomorrow! All the cables come in the box which is a brilliant idea and one which sets this company apart. I love the two speaker option and they now sit proudly either side of the TV, it really gives a cinema feel! The bases are included which again shows a degree of thought missing from other companies who would normally charge for the priviledge of a base or even the right cables. The only slight criticism is that I couldn't get the ARC setup to work and following the instructions of going to PCM on the TV didn't work. However, this was only a minor inconvenience as switched to optic (using the packaged cable), muted the TV speakers and it works perfectly with no audio delay. An absolutely great product and one which is a must if you want more powerful speakers on a budget.

The Perfect Finish To A Media System
I am actually really impressed with this system, it's size, which isn't too big, bulky or straining to assemble. The multi-function features are made easy with the light IRC, included in the package. The remote control can be uses with or without your TV, while the Bluetooth connection to any BT device is exceptional. Definitely a great buy and definitely value for money, if your looking for a durable sound bar that blends in with your television. Unpacking the split speakers had me in mind to wall mount them, which you can do with the supplied screws and plugs, if you wish. I opted for connecting the two. Accidentally dropping one, I noticed there wasn't a mark on it, the durable casing is very strong, though I wouldn't recommend dropping it all. I'm a first time buyer of Sound Bars, though I was told about the Apollo Ultimea S series, and none of them are complaining. The sound is variable, while the AFC for TV, BT for Bluetooth, Cinema and Game presets do help to get the best results. Extra Bass Boost is available which gives 3 presets. While it's a nice crisp sound, the watching of programs or films is enjoyable. Fine tuning your settings may be needed, depending on the Media you have. I would definitely recommend this or the upgraded versions if your serious about your Tech.

Sound not good at high level
The sound gets distorted and not good at a higher levels. My 65" TV has better sound at the same level. Sound is clear at lower levels and it's easy to setup and comes with all cables.

Superb Sound 10/10
Well. I was expecting something lightweight. The box nearly gave me a hernia. Well packed and a host of connectivity cables, a remote, HDMI ARC cables (whatever they are !) a doddle to set up and pair just connect the red/white cables between the speakers for stereo and youโre away. No fiddly hidden ports to enter with tweezers and a torch. Open the QR code of your phone camera - download app , create account or do via apple account , switch to BT input and then open Apple Music or whatever player. Jesus H Christ talk about wake the dead! ๐ They are ear splittingly loud. Not tinny, good spectrum of sound and very very well built - I expected TEMU style speakers and got something that looked like it came off the Rolls Royce production line in Preston. Iโm still playing around with the settings - next job to hook up to PS5 digital and Iโm away. Very very nice speakers, superb design and trust me you donโt be sending these back I can assure you. Verdict BUY A PAIR NOW!!! Iโm a fussy Dod with high stuff and these are bloody good.

Product failed after six months, trying to get ULTIMEA to replace it is a nightmare
After six months, the sound and the power started going off on sound speakers. It worked for a while and then stop working, and this continued. I could get the power back into the speakers and the sound working by unplugging the power supply and replugging it back into the speaker, or by jiggling the power supply plug in the speaker. I notified ULTIMEA support. I was told to do a number of basic checks - e.g. check the plug into the mains, check the power supply is plugged in (which I'd done many times). Next they wanted visible proof. Asked me to produce a video showing the fault. (the fault is no sound!) I took a video with my camera, showing the speakers with no power, me unplugging and replugging the power into the speakers, moving the plug in and out, and the power and the sound coming back on. However, the problem is that the video file is too big (150 MegaBytes) to email. I reported this and described in text again exactly what had happened - power going off, messing with the power plug etc. Next email, they say I can compress the documents into a compressed folder - I do that, but its still too big to email. Next they tell me to go to the WeTransfer website, download, set up and register the app on my phone. At this stage, I give up. I put it in the bin and went out and bought another make of soundbars.
