This lighting ties my new black counters with my live edge shelving

My husband had to do quite a lot of adjustment when installing this light. The fittings were not correct and the wood piece is not anchored to anything. We wanted to add a chain to hang it and that had to be retrofitted to make it work.

Nice, light, but a little smaller than I expected once hung.

Definitely not worth the money. Had to run to Home Depot to buy different canopy for all three, as it was missing mounting hardware. Zero QA.

No instructions provided and a bracket needed to hang light was not included.

I love the pendant lights, but what I didn’t like it’s that it doesn’t come with any type of instructions!

The light is plastic. I expected a metal one.

It is big as they say and perfect for the Kitchen Island. The spindle is real wood and ties in the wood table. It is very light and the white inside reflects the light, so we used 5W/60 watt Edison bulb. Very happy with it Unique

These are nice lamps, but they come from China, without any legible instructions on how to assemble the kit. You'll figure it out yourself, as it is quite simple, but this is not the easiest thing to install. Plus, the base is a little smaller than a conventional fixture, so you might be lest with a hole around it. Measure your current lamp base before purchasing.

5 stars for the overall look, but... minus 1 star for lack of instructions, minus 1 star for the cord being too short (about 2 feet long, definitely not long enough for a tall ceiling or if you need to swag / offset it), and minus 1 star for the mounting bracket not fitting to a standard octagonal ceiling box (I had to drill new holes to line up with the electrical box). I made it work, with a longer cord and some creativity, and the end product looks great.

The electricals are as cheap as you can get; small gauge wire and a snap-together socket with push-in wiring terminals for quick line assembly. It's obviously designed for LED bulb use or perhaps a low wattage incandescent which still generates heat. I bought it for its looks to replace a home made swag lamp so I used my original metal socket and heavier gauge lamp cord. Mine was a Warehouse Deal; Used: Acceptable. The shade rim was slightly out of round, but barely perceptible when looking into it. A heavier gauge of aluminum might prevent such problems. The small dome canopy is of very thin aluminum and would not cover a standard electrical wiring box. The larger diameter, flat canopy is of heavier steel but its mounting bracket doesn't line up with the screw holes of a wiring box. The wooden cord sleeve is of shaped and drilled out laminated rubberwood, the favored cheap wood material. There are no assembly instructions so you have figure out which compression nipples to use at each end of the cord. Strain relief is important as the thin wires alone will not hold the weight of the shade safely if the jacket is not clamped tightly. To sum up, the only value in this lamp is the shade as the electrical fittings are substandard or incorrect for Canada/USA wiring purposes (no CSA/UL/ETF rating). That value is not equal to the price asked but perhaps what I paid which was considerably less* *about 1/2 of the ridiculous listing on November 30. 2023. Stay away!
