This is an amazing Bible!! It is very thick, it’s the personal size, and the print is fairly large!! It’s perfect for anyone!! It is an easy way to read KJV and it helps out a lot!! It’s a great imitation leather, I love it, it’s so soft!! All together a great quality Bible!! Also it would be a great gift!! It is Everything as the description says 100%.. I recommend!!

If you are discouraged from reading the KING JAMES Bible because of some outdated words, then this Bible is for you. The KJVER follows the KJV word for word. It replaces clearly archaic words with modern equivalents. Other words that have changed meaning over time but still in use are underlined with the updated word at the end of the verse.Also specific to this Bible is the spoken words of God in the OT in red just like the spoken words of Christ in the NT.The sword study bible has many articles in the back that are worth reading & studying. One important thing is this: some of the articles and some of the words that are at the end of a verse as a word help you might not like. I’ve ran into that and it’s ok. Those articles and word helps aren’t the Bible.Another thing is the change the Thee, Thy, Ye, You, etc to just you & your, but they add a supscript p right after the ones that replace Ye, You, & Your to signify that it is plural. No other modern Bible does that.Lastly; I have compared some readings with the NKJV that my pastor reads in church. Some of the reads flow better in the KJVER than the NKJV. Other times the NKJV flows a little better than the KJVER. The reason is that they are both trying to sound like the Elizabethan English of the KJV.I would highly recommend using the KJVER to help you better understand the KJV & help you to transition to reading the KJV on it’s own.And may God bless you!

This has to be the best quality made bible I ever purchased. The font and lettering are perfect size and the gold edges are beautiful. I love the leather of this Bible and how the Lord’s words are red in both the old and New Testament. The personal size is perfect for me because I take this everywhere I go. What a gift to have and to cherish, I’ll always have this to keep. Thank you Whitaker House for making this and thank you Amazon for selling this and making it possible for me to purchase one.

This is my first purchase of a paperback in the KJVER and I actually purchased two paperbacks. This is the only bible that not only has the words of Jesus in red, but the words God speaks in the old testament are in red too. Also the H's are capitalized. That really means a lot when you loot at any KJV by any publishing company and if God is being talked about or quoted, or Jesus is being talked about, or quoted, the Sword says "He said" and I have a KJV study bible I like the notes to, and have used this bible and a red colored pencil to put God's words in red and I have capitalized the H's in both testaments. These are my first paperbacks but I personally own several of these that are no longer in print of the very large leather editions and I also own them in the KJV, but I prefer the KJVER and have given several away as gifts. These also have unfamiliar words underlined and defined for an easier understanding. A really good bible to own. I have and will always recommend the Sword KJVER bibles.

I own this in a Pink version, and have now given this Beautiful Book (various Color Combos) as Gifts to 5 People. They are nicely made, the feel is fantastic, the extra bonus study features are the best part of this Bible. These Whitaker House UltraSoft Bibles are true by His Word and are Wonderful as Gifts. They are Stylish, and Impressive for the Price. I just love them, and will continue to give them as Gifts.

This is the Bible I have been looking for; a translation from the Masoretic and Majority text that ditches archaic language.Having heard Bill Cooper speak on the the Forging of Codex Sinaticus (https://www.amazon.com/Forging-Codex-Sinaiticus-Bill-Cooper-ebook/dp/B01E1SUPRO/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1509870619&sr=8-4&keywords=bill+cooper) I have grown increasingly aware that all modern translations of the Bible rely upon a substandard and forged base manuscript that edits the text of Scripture to reduce the deity of Jesus Christ, remove mentions of the resurrection and distort the word of God. There is no modern translation that relies on the Textus Receptus (majority text), so I needed to go back to the Authorised Version. I struggle with the Tudor English, so this revision that removes some of the archaic spelling is most welcome.I would like to have had a version with a cross reference column, but alas there doesn't appear to be an edition that includes this.It is nicely bound, well laid out and while I'm still getting use to it (compared to my NASB), I'm glad I purchased it.

This was a good buy Bible has unique features

I love this bible,it just what it say large print and alot of educational information explaining the words meaning and the used of other word to explain the terms, so much information if you love to study God word. Need to add to your library. I would buy again already this is my 4th one, given one away , trying to make sure I keep more than on around because something that change the style of bible and making them smaller text . My future investment keep one at all time. Hope this help
