PlayStation Disc Drive For PS5 Digital Edition Consoles (slim)

I have been holding off on getting this as I really only play digital games. My PS5 pro has been working well without it but I noticed I wanted to start getting physical games again because of deals and being able to save a bit of money. This was a good investment and brings me back to the days with my original PS5. Now I can watch physic movies and play older and new games with a disc. Physically media is a lost art nowadays. Really enjoying it!

I bought this for my Pro to watch JoJo and other anime as well as 4k movies.

Works as intended.

I bought this so I'd be able to play my rented games on my PS5 Pro, and there isn't a Pro with a disc drive. It was a little hard to get the panel off to install it, but once it was off, the actual installation was really simple. Getting the drive to clamp back on was harder than getting the panel off, but the PS5 detected the drive as soon as it was powered back on, and now I have a PS5 Pro that can read discs.

So far so Great. Ok so I’m like most every other gamer in the world. Meaning I didn’t buy my PS5 for a few years after, in case there were bugs or something needed to be found out before I put up the Cash . So by the time I ended up getting one it was 2024. So by then I found a Slim Digital model I ended up finally buying. I absolutely love it and of course I bought everything (well pretty much everything) as far as accessories I could . I was happy with my digital version but really wished I would have bought the Disc drive Bundle. You would think installing something like this Disc drive add on would be somewhat harder to install? Man was I happily mistaken to find out how easy it was to install. PlayStation really hit one out the park when it comes to adding this Drive to my PS5 Slim digital version. Couple snaps off and couple snapped back n was installed. By the time my wife turns around it was instantly installed. Now I can play disc games and/or dvd n blue rays . Now I can unhook the DVD player I had so frees up n HDMI spot in my tv. NEVER got 1 Problem installing it or any since. So far everything works perfectly and am very happy. Please don’t read the reviews saying it’s not worth it or doesn’t work cuz it does with NO issues. I’m happy with everything.

Easy to install on the PS5 and I’m very happy to be able to use CD games on the PS5. Hums a little loud but after awhile you hardly notice it. Very happy with my selection. Cheers

It's a great product and I have no complaints over it. I do with delivery as it was to arrive as it said and weather was good to deliver it, but still took another day for it to be delivered, hence the 4 stars and not 5

Si installa molto facilmente sulla mia PS5 Pro senza problemi. Ottimo per chi vuole giocare tradizionalmente tramite i CD come una volta.

Expensive thanks to shortage of PS5 Slim Disc Drives. Packaging seal was broken but everything else seemd to be intact. Delivered before due date. Simple installation and works. PS5 games are cheaper majority of times in Aus compared to PS digital sales.
