This umbrella is the best I could ever buy. The ribbing on it looks beautiful. To give you an idea of how sturdy it feels it like holding a sword. Most umbrellas i have bought in the past have broken on me after 3 to 6 storms. From strong winds to heavy rain so far this one is still holding up. The carrying case it comes with is so convenient . I have yet to open it up on a sunny day but the fabric it on it definitely keeps the sun out. I can say this to open and close this umbrella it so easy one to open and a simple easy pull down to close.

This is amazing, honestly. It’s lightweight but so sturdy. You can easily fit two people under it, with lots of room to spare. Not a single drop of water got on us in the rain. Other umbrellas allow it to trickle down onto you, not this one. I love the vents on top, it really does help in the wind. It’s sort of hard to close until you get the hang of it, but it opens with ease and fits perfectly into its case. (The case is fantastic, btw. I love that you can sling it over your shoulder with the strap.) The look is stylish. Excellent purchase!!

Purchased in 2018, so this umbrella has been with me for 7+ years. Great size, well made for the most part. I use this for rain and hot sunny days out at soccer games. The ribs broke under high winds, and in an effort to close the umbrella, ALL of them broke and rendered it useless. HOWEVER, I was able to fix it with small zip ties to reinforce the joint where the small ribs meet the frame rods. It works perfectly now and probably stronger than before. The joint where the 2 rods meet are vulnerable and could break when you shake the water off. I have another of the same umbrella and had to make a splint for one rib, and ended up reinforcing the remaining joints with zip ties the same way. Excellent umbrella with a small inexpensive modification. Apparently, a newer design is available and seems to be better, so my repair suggestion is relevant to the older models as pictured in this review

Love the coverage and durability of this umbrella. While it’s not compact, it’s super resistant against wind and blowing rain. Easy to use and handle during rainy weather due to its lightweight design. Overall great product and worth the price.

I was overall happy with the product, last night it was raining and a bit of wind the umbrella grip lose up the upper part as the glue fail and the wind carry it a bit resulting on the hit on the tip. So the durability is not really stellar for the price.

This is a very sturdy & heavy-duty umbrella. I like the looks of it too. It is just a touch long for me but it is worth it. My husband wants it for himself so I'll get me another one. So far, it has stood up very will in windy weather, it has not flipped back, like the other cheaply made umbrella I had that didn't make it through 5 minutes at the beach on a rainy/windy day. It also has a larger diameter coverage area than any other other umbrella I've had. It's really great for walking my dog in the pouring rain, she can stay by me and stay covered for the most part. Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice large umbrella.

Excellent sturdiness in high winds. Love the shoulder carrying straps for when not in use.
