This axial blower is a high-pressure fan. That means, it is compact for its size and moves an extreme amount of air for an 8-inch fan, albeit noisily. However, as it is intended for industrial use and not in a bedroom, that isn't an issue. There are so many uses for this fan. You can use it to dry out wet walls or carpets, ventilate a space, exhaust fumes, so many uses. It is made out of heavy duty plastic and could easily survive in a workplace setting. The motor is dust-resistant and the unit has a long power cord and a waterproof switch. Also, axial fans deliver long-distance, focused airflow. This means, you can place the fan farther away than you would a conventional fan and the flow from the fan can be focused and directed right where you need it. 10 inch input, 8 inch output and you can stack them for even greater airflow. A very nice, robust fan.

The 8inch 1100cfm Mini Industrial High Pressure Axial Blower Exhaust Fan Air Mover was a much needed unit for my garage. The summer is very hot and humid and this unit made working in my garage bearable. Good quality unit and very affordable.

Used this to remove toxic fumes while working with epoxy. Not to loud and moves a lot of air. Great value for such a good product.

This is a powerful fan. One reviewer mentioned that there are two sets of fan blades but there are not. The second set are stationary vanes that guide the air into the fan blades and reduce the rotation of the air mass with the fan blades allowing them to work more efficiently and build more pressure.If you are using ventilation duct hose, those have very adjustable connections to the fan so the dimensions are not critical but for anything else it is useful to have that information.The intake flange is 10-3/4" at its widest and the diameter behind that where you would tie off is 10-1/4" and the groove is about 5/8" wide and 1/4" deepThe outflow side measures 9-5/8" at its widest and the diameter behind that where you would tie off is 8-7/8" and the groove is about 5/8" wide and 3/8" deep.The fan is only one speed, powerful with good static pressure but does have a higher pitched whine that is fine for short term use/construction.
