The Walpck Wheat Straw Unbreakable Dinner Plates have been a fantastic addition to my kitchen! They hold up great in both the dishwasher and microwave without any issues. Despite being lightweight, they are surprisingly sturdy and feel very durable. The size is perfect, not too big, which helps with portion control, and the slightly raised lip around the edge is a great feature, especially for kids or elderly users. My aging mother loves them because the weight is just right for her to handle comfortably, giving her confidence that she won’t drop her plate. Highly recommend these for anyone looking for practical, well-designed, and durable dinnerware!

If you have kiddos prone to breaking everything you own but are trying to stay away from harmful plastics- buy these!! This is our second set and honestly my husband and I use them all the time, too. Lots of fun color options and I love that they're microwave/dishwasher safe!

Ordered the Serenity 10in plates and received 6 green, 6 blue. Not the described 4 green, 4 blue, 4 dark blue. Thought possibly someone had returned the box with wrong colorway. Waited two weeks for replacement, as they were OOS, and thought I'd certainly get the correct colors, but no, still 6 and 6.Just wanted to clarify the materials as someone commented on reducing plastic by purchasing these 'straw' plates. They probably have boiled down straw, or some such, but they're plastic plates. They look, feel, and wash like plastic, and claim to be BPA free. I don't use the dishwasher heat cycle and they are slow to air dry, otherwise come out just fine on bottom rack, and no issues in the microwave. The 10in size are our choice for adults who don't want dinner squished together. They're somewhat flexible, (I had expectations of a sturdy plate, especially seeing people choose this brand to replace real dishware in review pix) and will scratch if a knife is used to cut meat, etc. It can hold weight, but will need both hands to get it to the table safely.Purchased them to use while we install new kitchen - have a small kitchen downstairs to wash dishes during renovation. Overall, better value than disposable and they're recyclable. I would think the 9in would be great for kids. Wouldn't replace my real dishware, though.

I wanted some plates that were lighter than my regular plates. For casual, carry around use. These are nice. I like that they aren’t plastic. After I bought the first bunch, I went back and bought more. Wash up easily.

Love the lip on the plates and surprisingly for the price love the quality. Will be buying again for my daughter. Great for small children

Attractive colors and light weight material. Our community group used these for a recent dinner event, serving 160 people. The shape is functional, although many attending found it to be more like a pasta bowl than a plate. I think this shape did help prevent spills when traveling from the buffet line to dining table. I was disappointed after the meal to see that many plates showed cutting marks from dinner knives, apparently created while cutting baked chicken (which really was quite tender). Because of this, I predict these will serve us for a few dinner events, but not remain longterm in our dinnerware stock.

These are great plates for everyday casual use and are much more economical than paper plates. This is our second purchase of these types of plates. We got about 6 years of use out of the first set before they really started to show significant wear and tear. We primarily use these for the kids and quick meals. They hold up well in both the dishwasher and microwave, and resist staining well. I would recommend avoid using sharp knives or cutting in a sawing motion (think steaks) on the plates. Otherwise these are excellent plates that we use multiple times a day. They save money by reducing the need for paper plates and clean up nicely in the dishwasher.
