This little stand is excellent.Subtle,compact,and just overall well made. It's also got good weight to it which will not tip over. Pivoting mechanism is superbly smooth with the right amount of tension which isn't loose at all. Powerful magnet.Excellent smooth dark finish.A+ superb bargain!

Stable and a strong magnet however the plastic part cracked after normal usage. It no longer functions properly.

Just got- can’t speak for long term. Not sure what causes the perfect resistance in the head adjustment, or how it might wear out over time. Beautifully made, nice sturdy quality. My i8 is a long phone, but not the longest out there by far...not sure if this gives enough elevation if vertically mounting larger screens.The black foam pads are a nice touch to protect table and back of phone, they seem to be well adhered.I must admit, for some reason I thought the chrome part extended 🤷🏼‍♀️, which would be fabulous. I was disappointed to find it doesn’t move...but was impressed with the quality so I kept it. You don’t realize how much you needed this thing till you have it! LolI utilize the i8’s wireless charging, I also prefer quality cases for protection. My only complaint is that I don’t get the full benefit of the magnet positioning (like mounting the screen more vertically) because I have to place the metal plate in my case...and avoid the: camera/flash/wireless charging area/and logo... therefore the plate has to be around the BOTTOM of my phone...which causes it to mount on the magnet off-center (bad weight distribution), so the phone isn’t as sturdy in some angles and wants to slide off the magnet. The metal plate is wonderfully padded w a velvet material to go against ur phone- but tht adds to the bulk between plate & magnet. This issue is also worsened somewhat due to my 2 part [“$5&below” store case] which is a thin rubber sleeve with a partial plastic outter cover across the back.[I usually use a waterproof case to protect the i8’s screen...that would probably work better.]It’s do-able and works! You just can’t mount the heavier phones *totally* vertically, the magnet isn’t quite strong enough through the heavier case & the phone will slide.My dog chewed on the stand🙄 so ignore the marks on it.

Awesome 👏 it is a great addition to my desk. It keeps my iPhone 12 pro max all day sticked to the holder. The magnet work great even through my silicon case. I have very limited space on my desk and i was looking for a holder to put it aside and always see the screen.

I have bought 2 of these phone holders. Both times, it has worked well for a while then the ball joint that holds the magnet to the base started to wear out. After a while, it couldn't hold the phone at an angle. Then the magnet would come loose from the base so the phone would just fall off.Before it wears out, it works great.

This desk phone holder only lasted 8 months when the movable part cracked. I didn’t even use it much since it was used to hold my old cellphone to record a few things and look at the time on my desk. So it wasn’t like I was taking my phone off and on and being hard on it for it to crack. This just sat there in the corner of my desk holding my old cellphone for the most part. The material is cheap plastic so if you move it a couple times is going to crack. I think the only reason it lasted eight months is because I just had it sitting there in the corner of my desk not being used just holding my old cell phone.

I love this little stand. I have a magnet on the back of my case and it sticks to this in any direction. Sturdy and also turns easily so you can flip your phone wherever you need it. I only use it with a phone but it feels strong enough to work with a smaller tablet. Great for movies or games when your phone needs to be sideways and your hand gets tired.

Love it! Works great in the cup holder of my car or just as a stand on my desk. Highly recommend (use it with my Samsung s10)

Does not hold IPhone, way to flimsey! And yes, case was taken off IPhone, very disapointed!
