THE BRUTALLY HONEST REVIEW THAT YOU SHOULD READ IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING
HERE IS ONE OF THE MOST IN DETAIL BRUTALLY HONEST REVIEWS YOU WILL READ. I'm a 16 y/o girl who bought this mattress for my room makeover. The price is totally unbeatable and I thought well, I'll just go for it. Here's my full breakdown and opinion on anything you could worry about for a mattress: THE COMFORT LEVEL: 10/10 I may be 16 years old, but I have bad scoliosis that affects my whole body. So I still get knee pain, all that fun stuff. Before I had opened the box and set up this mattress, I had also gotten into a bad car accident that hurt my lower back even more to the point I couldn't walk. At this point in my life, comfort is my holy grail. As a growing teenager, I needed to count on something that I could also sleep on for 12 hours and wake up feeling like I could take on the world! And this my friends, THIS is it! The comfort is amazing. My back doesn't hurt at all when sleeping on it to this day, even compared to my previous expensive serta mattress. I know a lot of people worry about it sinking over time. I weigh 105lbs but there are absolutely no signs of sinking no matter how long I lay on this bed. Also, it isn't super squishy. The perfect amount of plush with a hint of firm so you aren't sinking to the pits of memory foam. THE SIZE: 10/10 When I cracked this baby open, it immediately popped up. I didn't even wait the full 24 hours before laying on it because it immediately grew to it size! I even measured the corners! HECK YEA! CLEANING IT: 9/10 Don't know what the fake zipper is about on this mattress, but this baby is so easy to clean. MY SISTER POURED CRANBERRY JUICE ALL OVER MY MATTRESS! And as I was cursing her out and shaking my fists to the heavens asking "Why me!", sad that my brand new mattress could potentially be soiled forever, it was all okay after I grabbed some odoban!! I cleaned that sucker to the gods and now there is not a single stain!! Make sure you dab people and HARD! You can even rub it, it'll come out. And then I did what a smart human would do, put a mattress cover on. THINGS THAT BOTHERED ME: 1. I don't know if it is just me but....PREPARE FOR THE SMELL! It doesn't smell like green tea nooooo definitely not sis. This smells exotic. Not my favorite smell it was definitely a strange smell that I can't even identify. BUT THAT SMELT WEIRD! And I'll be honest...it took 3 weeks for me to not smell it. It was such a strong smell that I just made my bed and didn't sleep on it for a while. It made my sheets smell too at one point. Then I got used to the smell and just decided to kick it in my bed because I was tired of sleeping on the couch as soon as the smell died down. But by the next month, I no longer smelt it. I'll list below how I managed to get rid of the smell. BUT! If you are patient like me and are willing to pull through because it is a TOTAL pain in the butt to send a mattress back, then don't fret! It does go away and you will love the mattress after! Its been 3 months that I've had it and I've had multiple people do a smell test, the smell has vanished. I still think the mattress is worth it! HOW TO REMOVE THE SMELL: -Don't use too much febreeze. It'll be a temporary assistant, but honey it isn't worth it to drench the bed in more chemicals making the bed come up with more of a foreign smell. -I put scent soaking rocks in my room. You can buy these at home depot, they take away any weird scents. You can also purchase a air cleansing machine, NOT a dehumidifier. I don't know exactly what these things are called but my boss has one and they work great. You can get these for cheap at walmart. -Air fresheners for the car. A canned air freshener will definitely get rid of the smell but they are very strong. I just got some plain smelling glade air fresheners and put them under my mattress. This made my mattress smell like fresh linen by the second day. -Wait that sucker out! It's not too bad! 2. The heat, at first My mom just looooooooves to keep our house at 69 degrees making me a living ice cube. Therefore, I keep my vents closed. But, this bed will get you pretty hot sometimes. It could just be because of my comforter, but I never sweat and sometimes I will wake up sweating on this bed. This isn't an extremely justifiable complaint because it could be any other factor, but rest assured my vents are open fully because I do not want to smell like sweat! OVERALL.....This is a definite cop, not drop! Go ahead and buy this bed. If you are extremely picky, this bed is great to have in a guest room or maybe if you own airbnb's. They're cheap and comfortable and great as long as it air's out. I love my bed so much to a point that I don't wake up for days now!

Honest review
I bought this mattress for a room makeover, and honestly, the price is unbeatable, so I figured I’d just roll the dice. Here is my complete breakdown of everything you might be stressing about: THE COMFORT LEVEL: 10/10 I have a really bad back that gives me aches all over. Right before this mattress arrived, I was in a bad accident that left me struggling to walk, meaning comfort became my absolute holy grail. As a growing teenager, I need to be able to sleep for 12 hours straight and wake up ready to take on the world—and this is it. Even compared to my previous expensive Serta mattress, I don't wake up with back pain. I know people worry about a bed sagging over time; I weigh around 105 lbs, but there are zero signs of sinking no matter how long I lie on it. It isn't super squishy either—just the right amount of plush with a hint of firmness so you don't sink straight to the bottom of memory foam. THE SIZE: 10/10 The second I cracked this baby open, it immediately popped right up. I didn't even wait the full 24 hours before laying on it because it expanded instantly. I even measured the corners to be sure—total success! CLEANING IT: 9/10 I have no idea what the fake zipper on this mattress is for, but it is so easy to clean. My sibling accidentally poured cranberry juice all over it, and while I was having a mini panic attack thinking my brand new mattress was ruined forever, OxiClean / OdoBan saved the day. I scrubbed that spot out, and there isn't a single stain left. Just make sure you dab hard (or even rub a little, it comes right out). And then, like a smart person, I immediately put a mattress cover on it. THINGS THAT BOTHERED ME 1. Prepare for the smell It definitely doesn't smell like green tea, no way. It has a strange, exotic chemical smell that I couldn't even identify at first, and it even made my sheets smell for a bit. It took about three weeks for the scent to really die down—to the point where I just made the bed and avoided sleeping on it for a little while, or crashed on the couch instead. By month two, it was completely gone. If you're patient and want to avoid the absolute pain of boxing up and returning a mattress, just wait it out. It's totally worth it. How I finally tackled the smell: Skip the Febreeze overdose: Drenching the bed in extra chemicals just creates a weird mix of scents. Odor absorbers: Placing scent-absorbing charcoal rocks or baking soda/deodorizing crystals nearby helps pull out weird smells. Air purifiers: Running a small air cleaner in the room makes a huge difference. Car air fresheners (carefully): Tucking a mild, clean-scented air freshener under the mattress helped give it a fresh scent pretty quickly. Time: Just letting it breathe! 2. The heat (at first) My house is usually kept pretty cool, but this bed can trap some heat. I woke up sweating a few times at first, though part of that might have been my thick comforter. It’s not a dealbreaker, but definitely something to keep in mind if you sleep hot. OVERALL This is a total buy, not a skip. If you're super picky, it's an amazing option for a guest room or a rental property since it's affordable, comfortable, and just needs a little time to air out. I love it so much I practically have to drag myself out of bed now!

Great Quality for a Broke College Kid
Nearly 1 Year Later: I bought this mattress around Aug/Sept of 2018 and thus far its been amazing. There was a smell within the first few days of unpackaging but that quickly dissipated after letting it air out for about 48 hours. So far I've noticed no sagging or any problems, my 8 inch bed stays nice and firm with the exception of a slightly softer midsection of the bed (understandable since it carries the brunt of my weight nearly every night) which has no effect on the quality of my sleep. I HIGHLY recommend this mattress as many of the problems others have stated have not occurred in my experience, the mattress firmness/softness is reliable and doesn't seem to lose its hold within months, and it stays nice and cool during hot nights in southern california. OLDER REVIEW: I spent about a month looking at foam beds on amazon for my first apartment. I'm a back sleeper most often but sometimes sleep on my side and the 8 inch is perfect. I'm a broke college kid so I couldn't splurge but wanted something dependable that would last the remainder of my time in college at least. So far it's been about three months since I purchased this bed and I have to say I love it. It hasn't settled/sunk anywhere yet compared to my bed at home which lost its firmness within the first few weeks. I use the mattress on top of a 14 inch zinus smartbase that was recommended with their mattress, because I was unsure if the spaces on the smartbase would cause the mattress to sink I did place the cardboard underneath as a precaution but this is something that would really depend on what kind of bed frame you use. Pros: Its light enough for me to turn on its side to tuck in my bed sheets every two weeks. It hasn't lost its firmness yet and DID expand to the full 8 inches. Arrived on time (big for me since I moved more than a few hours away from home) for me to set it up right when I moved in. Expanded to full 8 inches* Cons: When you get it there is a noticeable smell of mildew. I gave my bed about two days to air out without me using it and had it propped up in front of a open sliding door. Even then the smell didn't fully dissipate until a few days later. *The corners didn't fully expand to 8 inches, they're more like 6-7 inches. This personally doesn't bother me because it has 0 effect on the quality of my sleep and doesn't make the bed appear misshapen in any noticeable way. TL;DR This bed is comfortable for the price if you're on a budget and comparable IMO to more expensive beds. Expanded to full 8 inches but not in the corners which doesn't effect sleep quality at all. Has a noticeable smell when first unpackaged, dissipates within the week you set it up.

Great Budget-Friendly Mattress – Firm and Easy to Set Up
Setup was quick and hassle-free — the mattress arrived neatly compressed in a box and fully wrapped. Once unboxed, it started expanding immediately and took about three days to fully rise. I was pleasantly surprised by how little odor it had, especially compared to other mattresses in a box. This mattress is definitely on the firmer side, which is great if you prefer solid support. I use it in my guest room, and so far, no complaints from any visitors — everyone has slept comfortably. It fits perfectly on a standard queen-size base, and for the price, it’s a fantastic value. If you're looking for a budget-friendly, firm mattress that’s easy to set up and doesn’t compromise on quality, I’d definitely recommend this one.

Fathery Soft
I love this mattress! It is so comfy and soft. In my personal opinion it could be a little firmer, but it is still really comfy. It is very thick and fits perfects on a twin box spring. It seems sturdy and like it will last for years to come.

Great Value for money and South Korean product
I replaced all of my family’s mattresses with this one, and we absolutely love them! The quality is amazing for the price, and I especially love that it’s a product from South Korea. It’s incredibly comfortable, and there was no unpleasant smell at all when we first opened it. Even the mattress for my child, which has been used for quite a while, is still very comfortable and satisfying. We’re extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it!

Affordable Comfort That Won’t Break the Bank—But Know Its Limits
I wasn’t expecting too much from a mattress in this price range, but honestly, this one surprised me. The memory foam has that classic slow-sinking feel that’s great for pressure relief—especially if you sleep on your side or back. After a few nights, my shoulders and hips definitely felt better supported than with my old spring mattress. It arrived tightly rolled and vacuum-sealed. I unboxed it and let it sit for a full day before sleeping on it. It expanded fully and didn’t have any weird chemical smell—actually, there was a slight green tea scent that faded quickly, which was way better than the plasticky smells I’ve gotten from other foam products. There are a few things to be aware of: it’s soft. If you like a firmer mattress or sleep on your stomach, it might not be for you. Edge support is also weak—when you sit near the edge, it sinks quite a bit. I also wouldn’t call it cooling, so if you sleep hot, you may want to add a cooling topper or use breathable sheets. That said, I sleep great on it. It’s quiet, absorbs movement really well, and for the price, it’s kind of a no-brainer for guest rooms or first apartments. Bottom line: super comfy if you like a plush, sink-in feel. Don’t expect luxury-level durability, but for everyday use or as a backup mattress, it does the job really well.

Well the updated reviews are true...Company SUCKS
Bought an 8" for our spare room because of reviews and price. However, at the same time, we bought a Leesa for our room. After a month we were having so many aches and pains we decided we were going to have to return the Leesa. Before doing this we had to find another mattress so we pulled this mattress off our spare room bed and slept on it for a week....WOW. We slept the best in years. Literally I would lay down and not move all night....that NEVER happens. Needless to say, we ordered the King 12"; after this for our room and we are very happy with it as well. Now, do not get me wrong the Leesa is a great mattress and it is well made and if we were not side sleepers this mattress would be perfect, however, we sleep on our sides and therefore the pressure on our old shoulders and hips were terrible. FYI: In the reviews, you will read that people complained of this bed is too firm, not sure how that is the case, you sink in and get well supported. Others complain of it not expanding....this is not an inflatable raft, you do not pull the ripcord and it flies open. You MUST get it out of the box and on the base within a day, day of delivery the best and you MUST let it sit for 48 hours.....do not sleep on it, we slept in the spare room and on the floor when we ordered the 2nd. It literally grows for 2 days or longer. ****Fast forward 3 years and this mattress is falling apart.**** I purchased the 8 " and the 12" for the price and the warranty. I had read many updated reviews here from people who said the company would not uphold the warranty, but I thought, surely not. Well on 8/18/20 I filed for a warranty claim and was met with an email of a list of pictures and measurements I needed to provide along with the usual proof of purchase, tags, ect. I was kind of concerned that they told me NOT to remove the mattress cover...think I will do that next, I might be surprised. Anyway, I did all the pictures the best I could since it is a KING size, heavy and I am not a bodybuilder. Let me include that this mattress is on a Zinus platform bed that is approved for this mattress, the mattress sits ON TOP of the platform and NOT down in the bed at all. This is the email I received....so the reviews of this company ARE TRUE...they SUCK: Thank you for providing us those information and the explanation of the issue encountered. Unfortunately, after reviewing all the picture you sent us, there was only one really eligible to be reviewed regarding measurements of the side mattress since the other measurements are hidden by the bed frame. The sag also does not have measurement on the picture. And i regret to tell you that for the actual situation with the only measurement eligible in those picture, unfortunately we cannot launch a warranty claim sorry. "This warranty does not cover any deterioration of the foam that results in an indentation of less than 1.5 inches" And, on this only eligible picture, unfortunately the detorioration show less than 1inch, and after already few years of using a mattress, this 1inch can be understandable and sadly not covered by the warranty at the moment If you want to share us more picture of the sag which could be maybe more than 1.5inches of loss, do not hesitate (i will add an example picture of the measurement showing a sag that we normally request in those situation) Thank you for your understanding, and if you have any question, do not hesitate to reply to this email. Have a good day. Cordially Alex Your Zinus Team

Great mattress and priced right!
After getting our mattress. We let it expand and slept on it for the first time last night in our camper,,and we are super happy with it. It has a medium to a little more firmness. But very comfortable. Hopefully it will be comfortable and keeps its feel and shape after sleeping on it. All in all. We’re very impressed with the Zinus

Wow I was amazed it's thin but works really well, actually better than my spring tall one. This also allows me to leave the cushions in and the duvet because it's thinner than the old one I had. Totally recommended

As Advertised
The mattress arrived in time and was well packaged. It was exactly 60 inches wide x 75 inches long as advertised and fit our RV perfectly. After 48 hrs it had expanded to just over 7 inches thick. A little less than stated by Amazon. I believe that firmness is very subjective to each individual. What might seem very firm to one person, is more plush to someone else. Just read the reviews and you'll see the wide range of comments. I have a Douglas King mattress at home and it is considered a medium-firm. I would consider this Zinus mattress to be almost identical to my Douglas in this regard. It took some time to get used to the Douglas, but now I absolutely love it. I feel the Zinus will provide an almost seamless transition from when we sleep at home or in our RV. I definitely recommend it. I only gave 4 stars because I don't know how it will stand up over time.
