Cable feels like it was built well, tested before, during and after burial. Throughout is 100%
Installed this cable between my detached garage and home in Minneapolis, MN. The purpose was to move away from a wireless bridge setup that has needed reboots on a regular basis. We run two IP Cameras from the garage and need a solid hardwire trunk between our home network and the garage. This cable was trenched along 70 feet of soil at ~20 inches deep, to clear the frostline. I used weathertight conduit from the terminals, on it's way down to the trench bottom to ensure a safe and secure install. We tested the cable before, during and after the install to ensure once the labor was carried out that the cable remained functional. I ran some tests along the network and the throughput pushed the max of our network infrastructure, ~896Mbps.Very happy with the quality of the direct burial cable as well as the pigtail ends. The LC connectors feel sturdy and the pulling through short conduit 3/4" with the help of a stiff RG-6 coaxial cable to fish was suitable. Just ensure you squirt some dishsoap or cable lube in there to assist.I will ensure to update this review once this cable has gone through the four-season of Minnesota.

Incredible Value - Would Buy Again
This direct-burial fiber optic cable has doing the intended job perfectly for several months now. I installed it between a house and detached garage with no conduit. At only a few inches deep, since it carries no voltage, the install was certainly quick. As for the connectivity itself, I have not seen any drops, and the connection worked instantly as soon as I powered my devices up. I am currently using it for 1Gbps but I am sure it is capable of 10Gbps if I had the hardware. The quality of the cable is also superb. It has a thick jacket that certainly protects the fiber, but I still recommend being careful with it. Due to how flexible the cable/jacket is, one could kink it by accident.Overall, the quality of this cable is high, and with such a low price (compared to other retailers) I would say it is of incredible value. I will certainly buy from RiteAV again.

Only worked 4 months
Bought this for outdoor use. Did bury it in the ground. Worked great for about 4 months..just shorted out and is not usable....didn’t even last 5 months..

Tough enough for an inexperienced installer.
I ordered 600ft of this cable to connect an outside office with our main house at 10GB. Initially, I’d planned to direct-bury, but ended up pulling it through buried conduit. This was my first time doing work like that (we had several issues of tangle and exceeding the bend radius) and I was nervous plugging in the SFP at each end, but the switches lit up green and carry traffic at the full 10GB. I would buy again.

Good value for price
I purchased one of these heat cables for a shallow 2 in pressurized grey lineup which I ran up hill to my septic tank. I have yet to test the product during the winter months but the look and feel of this Chinese made product appeared to be very good and was a fraction of the price of Canadian and French competitor products.

Armor is very thin
The fiber worked ok, but for being labeled "direct bury" the armor is very thin and fragile. I did bury it mostly successfully, but it got pretty beat up.

Solid cable
Shipped as described, high quality, and great for a niche item. Ran an outdoor rated single mode LC-LC cable out of my basement, outside, and around the house to my office. Overkill? Heck yeah. But won’t ever have to run a new cable for more bandwidth ever again. All the different lengths and connector options are great. Would buy again, and likely will.

Great for inside conduit
I wouldn't direct burry this but I use it in outdoor applications inside of even the most basic conduit and it is solid for that purpose. Very good price for what you get.
