Running this PSU with a 4080—no issues at all. Super clean setup thanks to the full modular cables. Compact size made it easy to fit in my case. Fan gets a bit loud under heavy load, but nothing crazy. Feels future-proof with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 support. Would buy again.

I recently purchased two MSI MAG A850GL PCIE 5.1 & ATX 3.1 power supplies, and I’m genuinely impressed with their performance and build quality. The MSI MAG A850GL is a fantastic PSU for high-performance builds. It’s powerful (850W), highly efficient (80 Plus Gold), and fully modular, making cable management easy. I paired it with an RX 6800 XT, and it ran flawlessly with silent operation and excellent build quality. Highly recommended!

I ordered this power supply when I upgraded my cpu and needed more power. The modular cables made it very easy to install. It works perfectly so far, and runs cool. It doesn't have that strong, acrid, PC electronics smell that some pc components have when unboxed. The 24 pin motherboard connector is at the left side of the front face of this PSU. When installed in my case (and likely many other cases), this puts the motherboard connector at the front of the case. It would be easier if the motherboard connector were at the right side of the front face. This would allow for less visible wiring after installation. Overall though, it's great.

It's never worth being cheap on a power supply. I bought this one to upgrade my current PC. As expected it's a perfect fit, just screw it in and you're good to go. It's nice and quiet, looks great and most importantly I trust it not to set anything on fire! My only complaint would be that the cables felt like the normal tacky rubber ones you get on lower quality power supplies, although they're hidden away in the pack of the PC and if you really cared you can always get aftermarket cables.
