They work well on different surfaces. I have used them on paper, drywall and a wood fence, worked well on each. I have used the same brushes over after cleaning them with dawn and water and they work as well as the first time.! Review: Brushes are not 1” wide, they are 3/4”. Not happy at all - I ordered these brushes because it says in the description they are 1” wide, I ordered them because competitive brushes were all 3/4” in size which is slightly too small. Received them today, they are also 3/4”, very disappointed that they are not what they say.

Solid paintbrushes, especially for the price
Fantastic brushes. Larger size, so great for putting down a foundational color, working on larger pieces, or abstract art. I got them for an art class I was teaching and they have lasted very well through the year. Very soft and apply paint smoothly, easy to use and clean.
