100% intense, indeed! Makes my mouth pucker. High quality product but..oof its strong. :)
Very intense. Mildly off-putting it is so intense. That's on me because I was just curious about this product. I figured it probably wouldn't be great for snacking on, but might be fine for using in other applications. I am confident it will. This is indeed 100% dark chocolate that is as intense as described, and I agree with the flavor profile of "roasted, cocoa, bitter". Definitely just like taking a bite of a cocao nib. But a creamier. My experience thus far is when trying it directly; not added to anything, not melted. Just popped into my mouth. It has a slight liqueur vibe to it. It is best to let melt in mouth. The intense bitterness is punctuated when I tried chewing it up. So a slow melt in mouth is way to go for me. I imagine it will be lovely for melting, and adding stuff to it, or just dipping something sweet into. I look forward to making some spicy hot chocolate with it where I want a more bitter edge to it.The bag is durable, has a good closure. Everything looks good. I really cant think of anything negative. Again, flavor isnt totally satisfying to me.. but come on.. it is 100% cacao, just "ground cacao paste"Product of PeruI will probably buy from this company again. I now want to try their 72%

Excellent flavor!
I like to snack on unsweetened chocolate because I find it helps with junk food cravings. I had most recently gotten the unsweetened chocolate wafers from a big name brand, and I still had a few left when these arrived from U Organic. Let me tell you: the difference is night and day!The other ones were fine, not bad by any means. But nothing about the flavor stood out. It just tasted like generic chocolate. But with these, the flavor is bright and slightly tart, with notes of pit fruits. And honestly I feel like the bitterness is not quite as strong either.I can’t comment on their use in melting or baking, but based on flavor alone, I highly recommend!

To bitter
I got these chocolates to make cookie pops with, but they were to bitter. I ended up adding vanilla past to them to sweeten them up some. I forgot about them afterward and ended up leaving them out. It was probably better that way anyway . I am on a low protein diet, I got them to cover the outside of the cookie pops. They weren't anything I couldn't handle. I have a pretty high tollerance, but leaving the chocolate off lowered the protein content by a couple grams, I have a YouTube channel called Rare Chef that I film a lot of cooking videos on.
