After multiple uses, I can confidently say this trimmer has not nicked or cut me once. It has a slightly slower motor compared to other trimmers, which helps prevent hair from being pulled. I was very impressed with this, and compared to other shavers and trimmers I’ve used, this one really stands out. When I use it, I don’t have to worry about hurting myself. EASE OF USE The small, slim, and simple design makes it very easy to maneuver. It’s comfortable to hold and the flexible 360 blade makes shaving much easier, especially in harder-to-reach areas. FUNCTIONALITY Some people might see this as a downside, but I actually consider it a benefit. Because the motor runs a bit slower, you may have to go over certain areas more than once to get all the hair. However, this is exactly what helps reduce the risk of cuts. Personally, I’d much rather spend a little more time shaving if it means avoiding injuries. CON’S BATTERY The battery is the only downside I’ve noticed. After one full use, I usually need to charge it again, and shaving body hair can take some time. That said, considering the compact size of the device, this is somewhat expected. As long as you remember to put it on the charger after using it, you shouldn’t have any issues. REPLACEMENT BLADES. The replacement blades are a bit expensive, so that’s something to keep in mind. Philips recommends replacing the blade every 4 months, but this really depends on how often you shave and how much you use the trimmer. Consideration I didn’t list this as a pro or a con because it depends on your situation. Some people choose to purchase the skin-protect blade separately instead of buying the entire trimmer. You can attach the blade to a compatible Philips Norelco OneBlade handle you may already own. However, keep in mind that the motor included with the Intimate version is intentionally slower to help prevent cuts. I was in the same situation since I already had a compatible trimmer, but I decided to buy this version specifically because it is designed to be safer. This razor surprised me. I've struggled with finding something that could effectively shave my pubic area without leaving ugly razer bumps and ingrowns. I've tried the expensive 5 blade razors and the one blade options. None of them work for me. The only thing that works is waxing, but I don't have the time to go get a wax everytime I want to be hair free. Well, this changed things for me. I use it and it leaves no bumps. I get a clean shave, it's pain free, nick free and quite durable. Also the battery lasts very long. It does make noise (obviously it's electric) but nothing that is too loud or annoying. It's relatively fine imo. Overall a great product that works well for me and my skin.

A gift for my wife ,and her comments were ....... Absolutely loves it , works fabulous. Does a great job , no nicks , cuts, and smooth cut. Might be a little pricey at $30 bucks, but when something works its worth it.

I was very satisfied with the Philips Norelco OneBlade Intimate. It provided a close shave without causing any nicks or cuts. This was my biggest concern when grooming the sensitive areas. The blade went smoothly and was easy to maneuver, making the process quick and easy. It was comfortable to hold in the hand while getting the awkward spots. The guard attachment also made it easier to get the longer hairs first then take it off to attack the rest. Overall, it performed exactly as advertised and left me with a clean shave and no irritation. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and effective grooming tool for intimate areas.

One of the best razors I've used. Battery lasts a while and charges pretty fast. You can get a really close shave down there with the "skin protect blade" without nicking yourself, but it does take some time getting used to because of how it moves. The movement does make it a lot faster, and it only takes me about 5-10 minutes to shave. It is a little more difficult to shave with the comb attached, but it works. I've used it plenty of times in 30-minute increments in the shower, and it hasn't died on me. If you do use the razor without the skin protect blade, there is a low-chance of nicking yourself, but it's not as bad as a regular razor and doesn't really hurt. It comes with a comb (green), skin protect blade (white), and a cover (black). The replacement for the attachments are a little pricey, but they come in a pack of two and last forever.

I’m writing this review because I have been searching for a razor/trimmer that is better than the current goopy Hydro Schick that I use and hate. I read several reviews on this product, and learned nothing and way too much about some people’s grooming habits or lack there of all at the same time. So here it is. A complete review, from a real life mom who has tested out this razor for one month. Pros: - Goodbye Razor burn (legs and arm pits) - Nice close shave on armpits without causing stank armpits later, because it doesn’t get all the way down like a traditional razor. - It is a great trimmer. No hair pulling, no skin clipping in sensitive areas. - It might be impossible to cut yourself on this thing - Charging is easy, battery life is great, powerful nice ish product. Cons: - This product does not get a close enough shave on my legs. Listen, if I get free moments away from my toddler to take a shower and shave my legs. I want them thangs to be smooooth. I don’t know if there is a learning curve, but I have used this razor several times for a month and my legs are always prickly. Nope, don’t like that. - The 3mm guard on this is too too long for me. My husband happened to have a 1mm guard that he doesn’t use for his OneBlade, so I slapped that sucker on this thing and it is a MUCH shorter length of hair for my sensitive region. 3mm is too long. No thank you. - Fairly fragile. I only say this because I dropped my husband’s one blade about 8 inches and the blade completely snapped off and I had to buy a new one. I have not dropped this current model, but it’s the same thing in another color. All in all I like the armpit shave that is somehow very close but hate the leg shave that leaves my leg hair super long. Using it as a trimmer is nice, but not the 3mm guard. You won’t have pulled hairs or razor burn, but you also will forever and always have prickly legs.

This product is awesome! It is great for “down there” does the job great, and super safe to use on sensitive areas. When I was ordering it, I did get spooked by some of the negative comments but honestly I don’t know what people expect at this price point, you are already getting your money worth so it’s good enough for me! Also the battery timing is great, I use it every other day and it would last me about 2-3 weeks easily.

If you haven’t groomed in a while, sure, it’ll give you a head start and knock down the overgrowth. But here’s where the disappointment kicks in: it always leaves behind this tiny stubble. Not necessarily visible in the mirror, but absolutely noticeable to the touch. And when the whole point of intimate grooming for many of us is achieving that smooth, pleasant finish, coming up short literally defeats the purpose. What really frustrated me is the skin tension issue. This device only works on areas where you can pull the skin taut. Try using it on, let’s say, a man’s more textured anatomy, and you’re basically wrestling with it like you’re clearing brush with a machete. You’re constantly having to stretch and maneuver just to get it to make contact properly. Meanwhile, a traditional blade glides over those same areas without all the gymnastics. The whole “extra skin protection” selling point starts to feel hollow when the device is this finicky about where and how it’ll actually perform. And that’s my real gripe. If I’m still reaching for a blade afterward to get the smooth finish I actually want, then what’s the point of investing in this and buying replacement blades for it every four months? For a product specifically marketed for intimate areas, it sure doesn’t seem to understand what people actually need from intimate grooming.
