I HIGHLY recommend. It works great at removing calcium buildup from my Vevor distiller, but the instructions require 12 hours. Narrative This area’s water has much calcium. Much. The Vevor distiller works great, but calcium buildup is a definite problem. Manual scrubbing works tolerably, but not completely, and it’s a lot of scrubbing. Research said I need citric acid to remove calcium. I use other Active products and they’re great, so, when I saw Active citric distiller cleaner, I thought I’d try, but I wasn’t expecting too much. The only known downside is that it requires 12 hours to work. Fine. Fill and leave overnight. The next day the calcium was almost all gone. What remained was easily removed with a scrunchy sponge. It almost looks almost as good as new with approx 0.1% of the previous manual labor. This was a legitimate “Oh, wow,” moment. I highly recommend. Overnight? Who cares? I only regret not finding it sooner.

I bought this for descaling, but decided to try it on my Moen handheld showerhead that had years of stubborn hard-water/mineral buildup. The results were incredible. I filled a 2-gallon bucket with water, added 5 scoops, and soaked the showerhead for about 30minutes. The heavy white mineral scale practically dissolved away. After rinsing it off, the showerhead looked dramatically cleaner and the spray nozzles were free of most of the buildup. I was genuinely surprised at how well it worked without having to spend forever scrubbing. If you have hard-water scale on compatible bathroom fixtures, this stuff is definitely worth trying. The before-and-after difference on mine was huge. 5 stars — absolutely impressed with the results!

I’ve been using a distiller for a while, making 3 to 4 gallons at a time, but hadn’t really cleaned it, aside from wiping it out with hot water (which barely gets anything out). As you can see from the video, I have hard water, and the mineral deposits were accumulating. I only use the distilled water in humidifiers, misters, and cpap machines, all which have filters, so it didn’t bother me, but it really needed to be cleaned or I’d end up ruining a good distiller. I came across this cleaner, which had good reviews and appeared very simple to use; especially as there was no scrubbing! I tried it, with some skepticism, and when I uncovered the distiller, I couldn’t believe the job it did! It looked brand new! To be honest, it did end up sitting a couple of days (instead of just 12 hours) due to a family emergency, so I really wasn’t sure what to expect, but, I couldn’t be happier!! Now I have an easy way to clean the distiller, and I can do it overnight and it won’t interfere with any distilling I need to do during the day! (As the humidifiers and misters each use about a gallon a day, there are days I need to make a gallon or two unexpectedly!) But, best of all, there’s no scrubbing! I love it!

I bought this for my distiller. After every batch of water that I make for my plants and my appliances, I just put a scoop in add some water. I only have to let it sit for a couple of hours because I've been doing it since I bought the distiller and do it after every batch. So there's not much buildup. Within an hour to two hours, I just put in a little scrub brush with a long handle swirl it around and you can literally see the minerals floating in the water. Everything comes right off. Rinse it off with some hot water and I am good to go for my next batch! I would definitely recommend this product and I absolutely recommend if you're using it for something like a distiller that you use it after every use so that cleaning up is a breeze! My distiller comes out, shiny clean, there's no foaming or anything like that. There's no chemical smell takes all the stains right off. You only use a very small scoop so that bag shall last me a long time very good value for the money, definitely worth it.

Even though we have a water softener installed, mineral buildup is still a problem because the water in our area is extremely hard. This product works amazingly well at removing limescale. I used it to clean my baby bottle sterilizer and electric kettle, and they look almost brand new again. I’m very impressed with the results and highly satisfied with this purchase.

I was looking for something to clean my Rosewill water boiler. unfortunately the company either no longer carries this product/cleaner and I needed more for future use. I came across a video from a Jason Minor and I thought the video was presented quite well and informative. so I bought this Distiller Descaler citric Acid cleaner in hopes that it would work as well as Jason showed in the video. I was excited and wanted to try it, but i had already cleaned my unit. Had a thought, wonder if this would work on my cat's metal water dish as i was ready to throw them out. curiosity got the better of me. I put about 1/2 a scoop into a dish with hot water and let it soak for about 30 to 45 min. The results were amazing in that amount of time. it was a Wow factor but maybe could have been better.. So this morning I thought lets do this again only a little bit more of the cleaner and more amount of hot water. Figured I should cover it this time. So what to use.. ah ha, an idea, I used the other bowl to cover it. since I would be cleaning it next, if the results from the one bowl came out better. OMG! WOW!. made sure water was hotter, leveled up to fairly close to the brim of bowl place the other bowl on top. walked away and let it set for about 3 hours. AMAZING!!!!!!!! gets even better here! Both, Both bowls got cleaned! see before and after pictures. Would I recommend this product? OH YEAH!!!!!!

For those who own pets—or are very good at putting in a load of laundry and remembering it 3 days later after the stink has settled in—I highly recommend this. It has taken away the smell of cat pee, dog poop, pet vomit, human excrement, animal smell, and that moldy laundry smell. It hasn’t caused any staining or chemical odors that I have seen in the 2-3 years that I’ve been using it. It’s super easy to add into any load. Just a scoop or two and no more nasty smell when the load finishes up washing.

I bought the enzyme laundry booster from this brand and really liked how it worked on my laundry. So when I was looking for a product to clean my kettle from hard water build up I chose to go with this. They had amazing reviews and I can also say this works AMAZING! I followed the instructions on the back and once It was done my kettle was back to looking new again. I boiled hot water in my kettle. Then after the water was boiled I added in the cleaner and let it sit for the whole night. When I poured out the water all the hard water were gone. I rinsed it out and it was good as new again.

This stuff is amazing. I had a kettle that was full of limescale. Had tried the vinegar method which helped a bit but not much. I used this and saw it acting immediately. Only had to let it sit for a couple of hours and basically no scrubbing necessary. Thank you for creating an amazing product! Will 100% purchase again.

I used it for my Frigidaire icemaker just for the inside and in the beginning it seemed to work good now. I don’t know if it can run through it for at least 10 minutes to see if it actually cleans out the hose, etc. I’ll get back to you. You know that works.

Worked amazingly we have very calcium rich water and so a very thick mineral later forms ins our kettle, after one use over night our kettle looks brand new eager to try this brands other cleaners
