Bought a pair of these for my maple top architect stools and they fit and feel absolutely perfect, highly recommended!!

As the other reviews mention, the foam used in this isn't all that supportive, but it still adds a moderate amount of comfort to existing stools.On an existing shop stool with a thin (1") foam cushion, this let me sit on a stool for ~2-3 hours instead of 1 hour before my butt hurts.I think adding to the foam cushion as other reviews say would make it a lot better, but this does of course add to the total cost.Otherwise, the cover is very well made, looks great, fits well and seems reasonably robust.

After several of my friends complaining that my wooden bar stools were uncomfortable I bought these and they are perfect they have a thick memory foam cushion and have a slight weave to the texture after trying several other ones that looked cheap these were absolutely perfect

For several years fiddled with the tie on ones. They slid when we sat on them. These cushions are secured with elastic--so easy to put on and the look is much cleaner since there are no ties. The fit is snug, so no sliding. They hold up during machine washing. Very pleased.

I'd been teaching from a stool for months and it was uncomfortable at best. It was passed already, but I figured getting something new would help.The Pros:It's thicker than the original padding (which I kept on)The sleeve is large enough to top my original padding which was about 1" thickIt looks niceIt pretty much stays in placeThe Cons:It's not very dense at all. If I was using it all by itself, I'm pretty sure it would be only barely better than the previous pad - this is the point though. This is something I guess in regular times, I'd likely not buy without physically testing out.Unless you are looking for low-mid density padding, I wouldn't recommend.

The stool cover was delivered as promised in a timely manner. It slipped right over the stool seat easily. Very comfortable. I like it.

I have purchased Shinnwa bar stool covers at least three times (all different stools) during the past several years. This brand is well made, consistent, and dependable. On my bare oak stools, I did add a second foam layer under the cover (comes with a built-in cushion); the cover was still deep enough to be very secure and stable.The first set (on the bare oak) has been so durable, stable, and comfortable, that I did not hestitate to seek this brand again, twice more. This second purchase is used over top of an existing cushion, and again, is secure and stable.This will be my go-to brand for this type of product, for as long as the company exists.
