Excellent Dash Cam with Premium Features, Set & Forget!
One standout feature is its advanced night vision capability. Whether it's low-light conditions or pitch-black nights, the N4 Pro consistently delivers sharp and clear footage. I was particularly amazed when, on the very first night of owning the dashcam, it effectively captured the license plate of an SUV driving towards me with its high beams on. Installation was a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly design and included mounting accessories. Despite its compact size, the dashcam doesn't obstruct my view while driving, yet still offers a sufficiently large display for easy viewing of playback footage and navigation menus. The built-in GPS accurately tracks speed, providing crucial data in case of an incident. Moreover, the G-sensor automatically detects collisions and locks the footage to prevent it from being overwritten, although I did find the sensitivity of the directional G-sensors needed some adjustment to avoid false alarms. Personally, I opted for hardwired installation, which allows me to access a range of passive security options such as motion detection and low FPS recording (timelapse) when away from my vehicle. This added layer of security is especially comforting during long-distance travels in less secure areas. In summary, the Vantrue N4 Pro 4K Dash Cam has surpassed all my expectations in terms of performance, reliability, and ease of use. While the price may seem steep at first glance, the potential savings in insurance premiums and peace of mind make it a worthwhile investment. Highly recommended! (Note: I have attached photos of my installation, although I couldn't fish the rear camera through the boot wiring loom as intended. However, it's securely tucked away and has shown no signs of damage from the boot lid. I'll provide updates if any issues arise. Also, I haven't included content from the dashcam itself as I believe the YouTube video mentioned earlier does a thorough job of showcasing its capabilities.)

Best 4k dashcam on the market currently
I recently purchased the VANTRUE N4 Pro Dash Cam, and it has far exceeded my expectations. This masterpiece from the VANTRUE Nexus series is nothing short of spectacular, offering a 4K+1080P+1080P 30fps full HD resolution across three channels. The clarity of the recordings is astounding, capturing every minute detail on the road, making it an ideal choice for documenting scenic drives and vital for recording any road incidents. The HDR technology on all three channels ensures balanced exposure, providing high-quality footage regardless of lighting conditions. Moreover, the wide-angle cameras cover an impressive field of view, leaving no blind spots. This feature alone makes the N4 Pro an essential tool for every driver. The night vision capabilities of this dash cam are remarkable. Thanks to the Sony STARVIS 2 image sensor and Sony IMX678 chip, the N4 Pro outperforms even the human eye in low-light conditions. This feature is especially useful for capturing clear images of license plates and traffic signs at night or during inclement weather. The ability to download, share, and edit videos directly from my phone via the user-friendly Android app is a game-changer. The parking monitor feature is another standout. The dash cam's ability to record 10 seconds before motion detection offers peace of mind, especially when leaving the car in public spaces. Additionally, the collision detection and various parking modes cater to different needs, making this dash cam versatile for any situation. Another aspect I appreciate is the emergency lock feature. In the event of a sudden collision, the G-Sensor locks and saves the current video, ensuring crucial evidence is not overwritten. In conclusion, the VANTRUE N4 Pro Dash Cam is an excellent investment for anyone looking for a high-quality, feature-rich dash cam. It offers not only security and documentation for your vehicle but also the convenience and ease of use that make it stand out in the market. How it was packed with all accessories that made me to install it so easy -is impressive I think it is most premium camera on the market right now! For clarity its 3 camera as name suggest. 1 for road 1 for driver and 1 on a back of the car. I really loved the android app where I could download videos straight to my phone without removing sd card from dashcam and I could preview the route live with video showing me GPS location on the map.

Great Product
The Dashcam is really good, the video and pictures quality is brilliant. Only issue is the set up instructions and the long wires. I had to use YouTube to set up the dash-cam and I didnโt hard wire it as it was too much hard work๐ I wish wire clips were included or the rear camera was Bluetooth enabled or wireless. I had these long wires dangling everywhere so I only use the front camera which also records, the front of the car, inside the car and the rear of the car. The rear view recording with the front dash-cam is the similar to looking into your rear view mirror. I had issues with recording after 1 week and replace the SD card. You need a card reader to view the recordings if you donโt want view them in your car. To view the recordings in the car, you need to download the app and also have to be close enough to the camera or the WiFi wonโt work. So far so good!

It's worth it.
I bought the Vantrue N4 pro dashcam for my daily commutes and I am very happy with it. It has three cameras that record high-quality videos of the front, inside, and rear of the car. The front camera can capture 4K resolution, while the inside and rear cameras can record 1080p. The inside camera also has infrared night vision, which is very useful for driving at night. The dashcam is easy to install and use. It comes with a sturdy mount that attaches to the windshield with a magnet (you uavebto clean the surface cleanly, else you mught have an issue with the camera coning off). It also has a voice control feature that lets me start or stop recording, take photos, or lock videos with simple commands, my children love this feature. The LCD screen is large and clear, and the buttons are responsive. The dashcam also has a GPS module that records the speed and location of the car. The only downside of the dashcam is that it frequently fall off the windscreen, which is a big negative.. Overall, I would recommend the Vantrue N4 pro dashcam to anyone who wants a reliable and versatile device that can record everything that happens on the road and in the car. It is a bit pricey, but it is worth it for the quality and features it offers. It is one of the best dashcams I have ever used.

One of the Best Dash Cams
Undoubtedly one of the best dash cams currently available, the Vantrue N4 Pro offers excellent 4k image quality using the Sony Starvis 2 IMX678 image sensor on the front, and great 1080p quality on the rear and cabin cameras. Reading license plates under any condition is very important in a dash cam, and the N4 Pro allows license plates to be clearly read when in motion. Where this dash cam really excels is night time use; license plates can clearly be read at night, even if the rest of the scene is dark or in motion. All three cameras support HDR, which allows more detail to be seen in shadows, while avoiding overexposure in the same frame. I was able to easily set up the dash cam at night, using only the light from my phone flashlight. No expertise or prior experience is necessary. The Vantrue app is helpful in remotely changing the settings of the dash cam, as well as downloading footage to your phone, instead of having to take the SD card out all the time. Being able to view the live feed from the dash cam on your phone is pretty cool. The Vantrue Player allows viewing the GPS trace of each clip, along with telemetry such as your speed, coordinates, and acceleration, helpful if you want to prove that you weren't speeding. Using it, you can also view the footage from all three cameras separately or simultaneously, even though they are recorded into separate files. I'd definitely recommend the N4 Pro to anybody who wants peace of mind in the event of a collision, as it's image quality and ability to clearly capture license plates is brilliant, and will certainly help immensely in any trouble following an accident.

If You Buy, More Full You!
Well, where to start? The App is terrible. It doesn't communicate with the phone reliably with frequent disconnections. When it is connected, the files displayed are just lines of text with confusing date and time stamps. If you try to play one nothing happens. I own a Galaxy S24 Ultra, these actions shouldn't be a problem. Play back of a file, when you do finally find one that plays is awful, even on the highest quality setting. So much for their numberplate reading technology, it doesn't work and the picture is terrible. There is no sign whatsoever of the GPS map, its knowhere to be seen at all even though it said on the advertising that it had it?? On sentry mode you can either choose crash detection or movement detection, not both. I have the highest quality, fastest card available and yet when driving on more than one occasion I have noted an orange band across my screen warning me that the card is too slow. Its been a total waste of time. The product feels well built but that's it, that's all it is. Trying to give this try after try, wondering if the fault lay with me, but no, its certainly not me, I have gone over and over and over, reading the instructions and following them to the letter. In my opinion this is total rubbish not even worth the landfill considering plastic ends up in the Ocean and fish that inhabit the sea. On paper its fantastic but don't be fooled into purchasing one by the hype. I was and I have wasted hours of my life I will never get back. If you know what's good for you, you'll take heed. I don't understand the positive reviews unless mine was a dud, but I'm not taking the chance.

Very crisp & clear recordings
Having had other good quality dash cams professionally fitted, i obviously did a lot of research before deciding on the VANTRUE N4 Pro 4K 3. I can honestly say it was an extremely sound investment indeed. The camera does integrate well with the phone that I have and I think there may be a slight problem in the area I live in as the signal strength isn't particularly great and it does struggle to connect between the phone and the camera but I think this is more of an issue with the connectivity rather than the camera itself. There are a great deal of settings and features in this camera and it does take some considerable time to workout what features you want to set for your own particular circumstances. Personally, I wanted to ensure that the camera wasn't operating at peak rate all of the time because that appeared to generate an enormous amount of heat, which in turn is not good for the storage on the micro SD card. I was a little reticent to spend out money on a large memory SD card but having had professional dash cams in the past that appeared to chew through SD cards at a rate of knots, this appears to be a sound investment and the camera doesn't appear to be overly warm at any point in time. The front camera has been mounted mainly behind the rear view mirror on the screen and the rear camera is extremely small indeed and doesn't obscure the view. In summary it gives me some degree of confidence that the car is adequately covered, and I also have the option of the cockpit camera if I want it. While this camera attracts a premium price, it is exceptionally good quality and the Peace of Mind is worth the asking price of alone.

Brilliant piece of tech that just works!
I have had my share of experiments with dashcam, the most recent one with a very well-known brand which worked for a few years but recently started restarting on its own in a loop, which is a known issue for that brand. I came across the Vantrue range during online searches and purchased one dashcam as a trial, not having heard about this brand before. To my pleasant surprise, the installation and use of the device was extremely smooth and very simple. The app connectivity is seamless, and the video resolution is excellent. I loved it so much that over the next few weeks, I went on to purchase 3 more dashcams (different models) for different cars and they have all been just perfect. One of the dashcam models (N2S) does not offer wifi connectivity for app access, which is a bit odd in these times when even refrigerators are IoT enbabled, otherwise everything else is perfect. Also, none of the dashcams has the feature to allow remote access to video footage or settings over the internet; you have to be in close vicinity to connect to the dashcam's wifi signal for app access. That is the only feature I would request for future models but I understand for that to work the device would require either an LTE module or 2-way wifi communication. I have 2 of the N4 Pro dashcams, 1 of the E3 and 1 of N2S and I cannot speak highly enough about them all. On one vehicle (BMW X5) I ran into an issue where the rear camera cable was too short to reach the rear windscreen and the seller offered to ship me a new, longer cable free of cost (I understand the connecting cable, which is a USB type-C, is proprietary). If this isn't excellent customer service then I don't know what is. Overall I am very pleased with my decision and have recommended these devices to many friends. Vantrue range of dashcams is a breath of fresh air in this deluge of over-technical and under-performing devices. If you are looking for reliability & stellar performance coupled with ease of use, just get one. You will not regret it.
