I have coarse hair that tends to get frizzy but doesn't hold its own wave or curl OR fall straight. I've always been insecure about how my hair looked because of this. Ever since I was a teen, I've always wanted wavy hair - not curly, but loose, natural waves. I've tried almost every heatless curling method, and all of them either looked messy, flat or didn't last. I've also tried the curly girl method, in case that would get me waves, but nada. Once I had the money, I decided I should invest in an actual curling iron.This is the first time I've ever used one and I'm so blown away at how easy it was to use! There was no learning curve for me at all - just remember to take the strand of hair over the * indicated in the clear cover. I pretty much just picked it up, turned on a podcast, and had a blast curling my hair - it only took me 30 minutes! I don't get stressed out about placing it down the counter or near my scalp because the clear cover makes me feel safe. And despite what the other reviews said, I've been able to get thicker sections of hair through the barrel just fine. I'm so, so happy they made this and at the 1 1/4" size! This also arrived 5 days earlier than expected.

Really easy to curl my hair and the results are amazing!! Also you won’t burn your face because it has a protective plastic for it. My hair is fine and I used the medium curl setting at the lowest temperature and got these amazing curls with the 1 1/4 size curler. I didn’t get any tangles at all, my hair was blow dried first with my Revlon brush. So much easier and faster than using my curling iron, which I HAVE burnt myself with… if you want to curl your hair easily, you will love this thing!! Don’t forget to use a heat protectant for your hair.

What a great curling iron! So easy to use to make barrel curls and beach waves. I would recommend this for anyone who has played hair or one length hair!!

Product was defective. Since it was an open box listed as mint condition, I opened the taped top packaging and plugged it in within 15 minutes of delivery. No power. Said to hold the button to power on for a few seconds and I held for over a minute. Nothing. Pushed all the other buttons and tried another outlet just to confirm. Still didn't work. Returned.

Arrived quickly. Heats quickly. Ease of use. My hair still won’t hold a curl, though.

Love it so much that my daughter-in-laws had to buy one for themselves! Unlike others, if your hair tangles, it stops spinning. It has multiple heat levels so you can adjust it as needed. You can also adjust the curl direction and type. I have shoulder length thinner hair and it makes PERFECT curls!

This hair curler is the best! I will always use it, now I can curl my hair in half the time!

I don’t have anything else to compare this to as it’s the first automatic curler I have bought and used. I was nervous they would tangle my hair. First time using it and it’s a learning curve especially with long hair but I love the results. I did tangle my hair but the iron automatically stops and it wasn’t hard to get my hair out without damage. You can still burn yourself on it so be mindful how close it is to your face. I am excited to continue using and getting better at it. Makes it really simple to curl long hair especially for someone like myself who is challenged when it comes to stuff like this. Heat wise it gets hot but not as hot as my straightener. Weight isn’t super heavy for the bigger barrel. I have painful hands and I’d say my straightener annoys my hands more than this.
