They worked a treat in the snow and ice, making it easy to traverse, however during the 1 hour that I used them they lost 3 spikes, so poor quality!

I put these to the test in a week in Iceland.They work fantastically, the spikes keeping a tight grip on both the icy pavements of Reykjavik to the glaciers and hills in the countryside.I would say order a size down as mine were a little too large, meaning every 5 minutes I'd have to readjust the positioning as the silicone would slip and the spikes would start to slide above my shoe. This was very frustrating but I am sure this was just a sizing fault.At one point (I imagine when I was sliding down a natural ice slide and tried to use my feet to stop me) I lost two spikes on the left shoe and they still functioned fine.Overall, these were great and did exactly what I needed them to, never once slipping or facing any issues besides the actual gear sliding around my shoe due to sizing.

On first use one of the spikes "disappeared" during a 3 mile walk. Cannot recommend.
