The other reviews were exactly right. It works great as a novelty. Don’t expect to totally disappear but so close you might fool the dog. The kids love it. Gave it to my niece and nephews (2, 5, 7). All three went wild with laughter. And the adults were impressed. Use it with horizontal lines in background or solid painted wall. Stand about 5-6 feet behind with another foot or so between person and wall for darn good results. It comes with a handle. I fashioned it into a stand as unless you have very long arms it was work great and the handle somewhat gets in the way of the illusion. The picture I uploaded wasn’t staged; took all of 30 second to position (which isn’t bad considering the subject was a kid/they don’t all take pictures without finagling).

This is a very simple concept with minimal pieces. After putting it together, I stood with it in front of a mirror to see how well it worked. One of the handles immediately snapped off in my hand. I wish it was strong enough to support its own weight. More than disappointed.

SO you want to be invisible? This is a fun toy like rectangle to do that. Not 100% but as you can see in the product page the pics make the object behind it kinda blurry and blended with the background to make it looks like its just blurry colors and not a figure or shape you can recognize right away. It is not large so good for kids to play with or you want to hide your upper body and stand behind a desk. Be creative. It seems fragile to be aware of that and dont throw it around or drop it too many times,

Cheap flimsy piece of transparent plastic. Definitely not worth the price and absolutely nothing even remotely invisible about it. I DO NOT recommend purchasing this item.

This is a really well made product! It’s very sturdy and not too heavy. It even has acrylic, screws and nuts to attach the handle to the shield keeping them invisible. It’s a very good value at the price! My dog Sadie got a little scared because she couldn’t see my legs and ran over to see what was going on! My grandkids, Zoe, and Zach love the effect, and Zoe is bringing it to school tomorrow to share during her science class. This will be a lot of fun for years to come!

After reading some other reviews on this product, I felt I needed to write mine. I read other reviews on this item and feel some people must think they are really going to become completely “INVISIBLE”. Give it a break! This is a toy or novelty item. I found this item to be of the quality as advertised. However, I would recommend the seller perhaps place something in the packaging around tabs that are on each side of the Shield to protect them from being damaged in shipment, because when my package arrived the Tab on one side of the Shield was completely poking out of the box and the other side had a tear were it almost ripped through the package. Perhaps some sort of hard foam taped around the Tabs where the shield handle attaches to. Other than that, I have no complaints about this sellers product. I know I am not really going to become invisible and be able to go in and rob a bank with this toy item…LOL

Wasn’t really big enough for someone that’s bigger than 5’11 . It doesn’t really look camouflaged outside . Plus, when it was shipped it was cracked - returning .

This works very much like the invisibility shields you see in Youtube videos, and the photo for this product is representative of how well it works. My wife was skeptical when I was hyping it up but she ended up surprised and impressed at how well it works (still annoyed with me for buying it). I am thrilled, but not as surprised, since I've seen lots of videos of these. My kids got a huge kick out of it, especially my 5 year old -- I took videos of him and showed him how well he disappeared. Definitely more of a science novelty than anything practical, but if your goal is in lines with its novelty value, you'll probably be pretty happy with it.
