I have been using the dashcam for about 3 months now. The installation was easy, it is DIY work if you are not too concerned about perfection. I was able to get the wiring done to my satisfaction, but if you want a perfectly clean work, get it done by professionals. The wifi connectivity and video download through mai app is very convenient and easy to get done. Overall a good dashcam with excellent video quality.

This is a solid choice for a dashcam. We've had it installed on our Skoolie for about a year, traveling around the country and seeing the sights. We use the second camera to record the inside of the bus, and use footage for youtube and TikTok videos. The image quality is very high and the device itself is pretty intuitive to use. The automatic event detection sometimes triggers on harsh bumpy roads, but if you're in a regular car or pickup truck this is probably not going to be an issue. My advice if you're recording in the native 4k is to grab any interesting footage after every drive, even with the large sd card you're not going too far back in time! The night vision is pretty good and the built in speed and gps coordinates are super useful too! I added a few samples from driving around in Arizona under different conditions, judge the quality for yourself!

Very good product for the price. The 4K claim seems ambitious, but overall the quality is good day and night. The only minor complaint is the crash sensitivity is very low and if you go over a bump it saves the recording in a protective area thinking it was an incident. This can be adjusted, but out of the box it’s a little sensitive. Installation was easy. There’s enough wire to install the rear facing camera without issue even in a large SUV. Downloading snippets a video takes a while. A one minute clip could take 30 to 45 seconds to transfer to the phone not a dealbreaker as it is something I don’t do that often. For what you get at this price I have recommended it to others.

The video quality of this 70mai A810 is top-tier. The 4K resolution is incredibly sharp, and the night vision is the best I've seen. However, a quick warning for installation: Setting up the rear camera can be tricky. The instructions aren't very clear about the orientation, and it’s very easy to install it upside down. I highly recommend powering on the unit and checking the live feed on the app before you permanently stick the rear camera to your window. Overall, it's a premium dash cam, but they could definitely improve the installation guide for the rear lens!

Easy to install, both front and rear cameras provide good quality both under clear light and in dim/dark conditions. Menu is easy to navigate. I cannot judge about camera's G-sensors' work, because camera is connected to the third party security system installed on a vehicle which turns cameras on and off based in its own sensors. What I dislike: you have to register in xiaomi site to use all features of mobile apps, also a lot of functionality is available only through wifi connection, so if your phone is connected to car's system using wifi (in my case it's Uconnect by Sellantis), then to download videos you need to disconnect the phone form the car and to reconnect to the camera. This makes things boring. As about ADAS and other systems installed on camera - I have tested them, and they seem working, though I keep them off as I do not need them. So overall impression is good camera with a lot of of optional functionality which may or may not be used.
