It works!
I have bought several of the cheaper ball retrievers and they don't last. The telescoping locks either stop locking or freeze up. I have retrieved many balls with the I Gotcha and it is still working great.

Great tool for pulling out golf balls
Dad loved it and takes it everyday to golf just in case he hits one where he can’t get to it

Long arm reaches balls others cannot
This thing is amazing. I love it. That said, I think the 14’ that I lost was lighter and easier to manage. If I had to do again, that’s what I would buy. Both work amazing however.

Awesome Ball Retriever
This has a really cool retrievable mechanism, versus some of the older models I've had. All you have to do is put the "jaws" over the ball you are trying to retrieve, and it gives a nice positive lock (the old retriever had a cup mechanism, where the ball had to be "scooped"). Also like this because with the added length, can fish the occasional errant shot out of the water from the bank of the pond, decreasing the risk of falling in. Extends and collapses easily - simple twist. Light-weight, so, as a push cart/walker golfer, not a significant increase in carry weight. Great bag addition for any duffer who wants to retrieve a golf ball out of the water hazard or heavy rough.

Pays for itself!
These break or wear out after a season or two but more than pay for themselves in the meantime. This is my third one in six years. They are very easy to use and I'd say I have recovered hundreds of dollars worth of golf balls with each one.

Nice retriever
This was a nice retriever when I received it but then realized I orderedthe wrong one and sent this one back. I reordered the Gotcha compact retriever.

Heavy Golfball Retriever
Wanted a longer golf ball retriever. A couple of buddies have small I Gotcha JAWZ retrievers in small sized that are very compact, extend easily, and have a simple ball trap on the end. This has the simple ball trap, but even compressed down is still nearly 3 feet long and very heavy. Same simple ball trap and great reach, but just too heavy for me to put in my carry bag or load down my push cart with.
