I believe I have purchased at least 3 of these for my apple home. They are bright, responsive, dim nicely, and have a variety of colors. I mainly use the homekit app to set their colors via automations but sometimes I will use the VOCOlinc app to create some fancy patterns. The drop occasionally from homekit but it just a simple hard reset via unplugging for 1-2 minutes and plugging back in. I would say this happens on average about 1 time a week but sometimes before I even do the hard reset it fixes itself. I have about 50+ devices in my apple home from various manufacturers so it is to be expected but I would say these are very reliable which is why I have so many VOCOlinc products in my apple home. Highly recommend as the price is great and even better when they are on sale during amazon Prime day!

Worked exactly as needed! No connection issues, they get super bright, and they work with HomeKit perfectly, which is amazing for the price point. Adhesive isn’t the greatest, but just grab some command strips to reinforce and you’re all set!

These aren’t good lights, I should have known that when I saw the price. I got two sets and the first one paired to Homkit right away and works fine so far. The second one paired but immediately stopped responding. I deleted it and tried to repair it after a reset and it never paired. So I sent it back and got a replacement and the replacement won’t pair. Tech support is terrible. I sent that one back too. So 2 out of 3 sets didn’t work. The set that works responds quickly and works fine but it’s not all that bright. I got it to use under a kitchen cabinet. It’s better than not having a light there at all but that’s the only thing it’s better than. It might be ok as a decorative light behind a monitor or under a desk but if you want something for functional lighting even in a small area this isn’t it.

I've bought SO many Apple HomeKit devices, and this one was by far the easiest to set up. It just worked, perfectly, quickly, on the first try. Love it.

Just a prelude here.. My goal here is not to bash this company. This is to help others who have also made poor life choices with these things. I made my first VOCOlinc purchase in 2023, and then decided to expand and stay in their ecosystem, like a loyal dum dum. As others have said, these WiFi controllers are garbage. I struggled with intermittent connectivity for over two and a half years. The strips were connected through home kit and their app, and would show as connected to my Wi-Fi but then randomly show as unavailable in Apple Home. At first I thought it was because I didn't have an IoT network setup, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and still purchased more of their products (my OCD likes keeping manufacturers matched as much as possible). Then, I put the strips on their own 2.4 ghz network, thinking that would solve it, but alas, I was wrong.. it changed nothing. The tragedy here is that the LED strips themselves seem to be of great quality (for the money anyway), and I prefer to keep my e-waste to a minimum. So, instead of discarding them, I replaced their original brains with inexpensive 4-pin Zigbee RGB controllers (shown in a picture), and much to my surprise, there was absolutely no modifying necessary. These puppies plug right in and work with Home Assistant, so I added them in and pumped over to Apple Home from there, and now everything is now smooth as butter. The strips respond instantly, support brightness and color control, and even handle smooth transition scripts beautifully. It sucked to have to spend more money, but it's still far cheaper than going the Aqara T1 route. Those controllers I bought came in a two pack for twenty bucks, so ten bucks a piece isn't too bad. After reading other reviews on these things, I can't help but feel awful for all the poor people working in their customer service department, who must've known their products were awful, but there was nothing more they could do about it then telling people to do what they've already tried.

You get what you pay for. I needed a 6 foot strip and this fit the bill. Apple HomeKit is a must for me so it checks all my boxes. Would recommend good quality.

Product barely worked when I received. Drops connection constantly. Has to be reset over and over again. Reached out to troubleshoot and was treated terribly. I was told I would receive another but now they are saying they won’t replace for absolutely no reason.
