Huge bulb and heavily waxed Great quality!
It arrived with a 1/4 inch pale green growth. Now 5 days later ( and without any care at all) the growth is already 1 and 1/2 inches tall and very green . Can't wait to see it in bloom. The bulb is the size of my closed fist. And I really like the attached wire stand . just set it on a table with a bright lamp and watch it grow. Two would look stunning on a dinner table when in bloom, instead of candles. Update. Today Jan 12 it opened . I was extremely disappointed! Instead of the candy cane one I ordered this was all red!!! I really wanted the one I ordered. What a shame!

No Return Option for Defective Bulb
Extremely small bulb. Never grew leaves and no blossom. Disappointed based on the $29 price point. I expected quality product. ZERO STARS. Forced to rate with one star. Refunds should be given.

Beautiful Christmas gift!
This amaryllis is beautiful. I bought several of these as remembrance gifts at Christmas. Everyone loved watching the blooms come to life before their very eyes. This was the most enjoyed and appreciated gift during the holiday.

NEVER BLOOMED! So disappointed after nearly 8 weeks of waiting.
NEVER BLOOMED!! UPDATE I love that it's attractively packaged in the wax and should be care free. I received this January 5, 2024 and it's now February 4 and I'm still waiting on a bloom! The first bloom grew quickly, the second looks to be stalled. I am still hopeful and waiting! I gifted on to my mother, hopefully hers will bloom before Easter! Will update once I have a bloom.

great gift for older gardeners
I send one of these to my 92 year old house bond mother each christmas. She enjoys watching it grow and bloom. Excellent gift for older gardener! (sent to my grandmother for many year prior to her passing and she loved it)

Not all bloomed
I purchased 4 as gifts and only 2 bloomed. The blooms were definitely beautiful but very disappointed that the other 2 never bloomed.
