His ham transmitter and antenna were very close to the computer and when he would transmit the screen would get a bunch of pattern lines on it, the keyboard and mouse would not work, and lots of noise coming out of the speakers. We started adding these cores to the power and signal lines for all the devices and one by one as we went the problem completely disappeared. Not just a little better or that's good enough. It was completely solved. I am no longer skeptical. I use these as well and I was able to get instant results solving some RF interference problems with a computer to ham radio interface. Make as many loops through the cores as you can and still snap it closed for best results. Buy with confidence. These work.

Clever design, but the latching mechanism isn’t that great
Well designed to go around most cables, however, one out of the five delivered the latch is broken, so it will not close.
