This was an awesome gift for my kid and for the price is was very well made

The smell is horrible.
This thing smells so bad of gasoline, I nearly want to just set it on fire and get it out of my life. Tried washing it but the smell is still there and now just dry and pathetic. The craftsmanship is inconsistent and feels rushed, but didn’t need to expect much anyway. The sound is not very good, doesn’t sound like a cricket much, more like a ribbit on the wooden frog versions. Quite frankly, that’s your better bet, I bought a 5 dollar frog, and it sounds great and realistic, doesn’t smell, and better quality for the money.

Doesn’t perform as expected
Doesn’t sound like a cricket. A little disappointed with this product. We are not able to produce the cricket sound from the design. It is a little skinny and hard to hold. The carving is nice but doesn’t perform as expected.
