This thing works perfectly right out of the box. Easy to setup and use. Any questions you might have you can find on line and with 750 GB of portable extra storage it's well worth the $51.00 dollars. My cheap laptop came with 124GB GB storage and as apposed to spending more money for a 256GB internal drive I simply bought this product. I put all of my high GB games on this drive and they play effortlessly. Really great product with great value. Will bum more of them.

Picked this up for backups and file storage and it’s earned a permanent spot in my bag. Transfer speeds are the standout—moving large folders is noticeably quick over USB 3.0, so full backups don’t drag on. Cross-platform support is where it really won me over: I run both Windows and Linux and it mounts instantly on both, no drivers, no reformatting, no fuss. I’ve also used it to store server files and it’s handled that duty without a hiccup. Vey easy to connect. Plug and play. Computer recognized immediately. It's not a SSD it is a platter type drive. Its heavier than a solid state drive. If you're looking for an inexpensive drive. Anyone knows these type of devices has it draw backs. One is it can flake. Causing bad spots. The weight of these types of drives these are heavier. SSD doesn't flake. This is a great budget drive. its a HDD, it pulls 5 watts, so it will drain your phone, and it's recommended to have a powered USB hub instead of using your laptop USB direct. 3.0 speeds are approx 100 MB/s; satisfactory for backups of movies and music. as screenshot shows, small file backups are slow, so if backing up your phone, SMS data, computer user profile, or an application with many kilobyte sized files. you will going on vacation. Its still faster then most microSD cards, its still great for storage, it does not make noise. Trade off is that most HDD are fragile and prefer to be laid flat. Device is Reporting 300MB you will NOT GET a FULL 320GB from this drive. Formatted as EXFAT, recommended. running this drive with compression and formatted as NTFS and you will squeeze another 60GB space out of the drive, you will also get half the read and write speed. But if this is strictly to backup movies and Pictures and for windows only, then go with the NTFS/Compressed route. anything else stick with EXFAT formatting. I really like that it comes with a Type-C adapter. its basically a laptop HDD in a case. so its SATA speeds. works on my Android tablet and phone will see it. not kind to just unplug these things like a SSD or USB stick, you are recommeded to 'Eject' or safe remove this HDD, or like the transmission on your car it will grind itself out. So far so good. for $23 on prime deal this was a decent purchase.

I have 4 of these drives and they have proven to me that they can handle everything I have put them through. Very impressed with this brand and will keep buying them over Seagate which were the last drives I owned before I found these. They stay very cool and transfer speeds along with the price are great! Very reliable with simple looks and their size are perfect to carry with you anywhere.

Actually, I almost canceled the order after reading reviews, and asking AI (COPILOT) about "Aiolo"'s reputation as a manufacturer. Long story short: Aiolo apparently repackages/rebrands and then resells Seagate drives (maybe others...). There are various free utilities (again, AI recommended, for use with Windows 11) to find out the EXACT manufacturer and hardware specs, including usage/power-up time (was low, i.e., just product testing before drive left factory). I ran all of those after receiving the drive, and clearly this was a Seagate 5TB drive by another name... Drive is running fine now for two weeks, with about 3.8T on the 5TB drive so far, updated every few days via backup scripts. Obviously, if you read the bad reviews: Some will fail, regardless if it is or is not a known brand; sometimes probably because of power surges etc. (all mine are plugged into a powered laptop dock, plugged into a power and surge protector).

It’s very slim and lightweight, so it’s easy to carry around in my bag or even just leave plugged into my laptop setup without taking space. Setup was simple I just plugged it in and it was ready to use right away, no formatting or extra steps needed. Transfer speeds are decent over USB 3.0, fast enough for documents, photos, and general file backups. It also works fine with my PS4 for extra storage, which is a nice bonus. The build feels light but solid enough for everyday use. I wouldn’t call it ultra rugged, so I do handle it carefully when traveling. Overall, it’s a good budget-friendly external drive for everyday storage, backups, and light use just don’t expect SSD-level speeds.

Físicamente hablando, el cuerpo es de plástico pero resistente, de calidad, se nota que no es del plástico "chino", de ahí que pese muy poco, se agradece, el tamaño es perfecto, como mi mano, cabe en el bolsillo sin problema. Es casi totalmente silencioso, digo casi porque cuando trabaja al máximo se nota un pequeño zumbido que no es molesto y con el ruido ambiente incluso pasa desapercibido. Por dentro cumple perfectamente con la descripción, las velocidades de lectura y escritura son muy elevadas, si bien depende también de tus usb, pero no he tenido problema de pasar varios archivos pequeños a la vez como archivos pesados, los ratios de velocidad han sido muy estables en todo momento. Lo he estado usando en una Surface y como digo sin problema. Tengo pensado usarlo como disco duro para juegos retro y emuladores, así que tanto la velocidad y la capacidad me vienen de perlas. En resumen, calidad-precio está muy bien, si bien es cierto que hay otros discos más rápidos y con más capacidad, el precio también se incrementa y al final uno busca lo que necesita al menor precio posible.

It's real fast compared to the ancient external I had before, like I moved 200GB of games and it was done before I finished making coffee, absolutely insane speeds for something this cheap. The size is perfect too, fits in my jeans pocket no problem and weighs basically nothing, been carrying it between home and work every day without even noticing its there. Works instantly with everything I've plugged it into, my gaming PC, work laptop, even my buddy's Xbox when we wanted to transfer some game clips. Zero setup needed, just plugged it in and Windows recognized it immediately, started using it right away. Also super quiet which matters to me since I edit videos late at night and my old drive sounded like a tiny helicopter taking off every time I accessed files lol. For anyone needing cheap reliable storage just get this, seriously no brainer at this price.
