Oven ignitor replacement saved my wallet
This ignitor is very close to the OEM part for my old Magic Chef oven/stove, and it worked perfectly! Installation was quick and easy, taking only about 20 minutes. With this part, my oven is back up and running, saving me from having to buy a whole new oven/stove.One tip: make sure you know which type you need, as there are different mounting styles. It’s helpful to either take out the original part or take a picture to ensure an exact match. Overall, a great replacement part that does the job well!

My oven stopped working out of nowhere. It would get warm but not hot enough to cook something. So my husband went to youtube and a video recommended we get a new igniter. He put it in and 💥 we have a working oven again.

Not a good quality product - STAY AWAY!!!
This igniter lasted less than 2 months in a residential home oven after I bought my first one from the same vendor that lasted only 6 months (thought I'd give them a 2nd chance). Spend more money for a better quality product.

Worked Like a Charm
Perfect replacement for the oven igniter in my Whirlpool WFG505MOBS range. You can see the whole installation process on Youtube. I'm in my 70s -- if I can do it, you can do it.

Good, for the most part.
This was a match for the igniter of my Maytag oven. The connector didn't match, so I ordered this item because it came with the ceramic wire nuts that allows one to splice in the new part...except that the included wire nuts are too large. I could easily pull them off after stripping off at least 1/2 inch of the insulation. So, I decided to leave the softly-attached wire nuts in place in the oven compartment instead of trying to stuff them down in the little hole at the back of the oven. Besides, the wire nuts are ceramic, and shouldn't be subject to the oven's high temperatures. So far, so good. We've enjoyed several baking sessions without purchasing a new unit!

Great replacement. Used the included ceramic wire nuts to connect the specific connector but that was simple as well.

Junk! Failed in 1 month of use.
Installation was easy enough, but the part has failed in less than 1 month of residential use. No visual failure, but does not ohm out. No glow at all. Element is microscopically cracked somewhere.
