Great for homemade breas
This is the brand and size that I have purchased for years. I make all of our bread, and it is very economical to by this product. I fill a small jar for weekly use and put the rest of the bag in the freezer. I've had good results even after a year or more.

Hard to find!
True dry active baking yeast (not instant) can be hard to find in bulk, so I'm glad I found this. Price is really good too. It is packaged in an airtight package, and yeast is fresh. No problems with getting it to proof.

Quality & Value
What can I say… red star brand quality and consistency at a good value. The item arrived undamaged in an airtight package. This is the first time I’ve gotten yeast in bulk and I don’t think I can go back to individual packages or small jars.

Great purchase for anyone who bakes yeast rolls
I bake a lot of different breads. Yeast rolls, cinnamon rolls, yeast bread, bagels, focaccia breads, Challah, Buns, And more. This is such a bargain compared to buying the packs of 3. Or 1jar. I bag of this filled up 3 jars and I still had a ziplock baggie half full!!! I keep my yeast in the freezer. And this has never failed me whenever I use it. And I bake at least 5 times a week. I will repurchase!!!

The wife, the baker of the house loves it… importantly the “honey do” and “honey go” guy of the house found it convenient, just click, buy and wait for delivery…. didn’t get lost in grocery aisle looking…

No issues! Fast shipping with care. Others may think if the yeast feels hard as a brick upon arrival, they think it’s old. Nope! It just means it’s fresh! Once you cut the package open, it activated and not hard. It’s ready to use. I make pizza regularly and this yeast is amazing! I put mine in plastic quart containers and keep in my freezer. It’ll last for years!

Excellent Product at an Excellent Price
The Red Star Yeast was delivered very quickly. Sooner than promised. My wife does a LOT of baking, both professionally and for her own enjoyment. She loved that I surprised with with something as simple as a huge amount of yeast. She is still using it. It's a great price for a great quantity!
