Low price knife that works
The first model I bought of this knife Brand was a Tracker with Micarta handle. The knife was well made and had some problems with the blade grind and very dull edge. It took some time for me to fix the issues it had. I bought three other models and all came sharp and with few to no issues or defects. I cleaned the knives thoroughly and checked them closely for issues. One knife out of four is not a bad record for the cost of a knife in this price range. I was looking to see if I like the design style of the knife and cannot say anything about the blade hardness. However, the knives all are as sharp and I have not used then enough to see how long they will stay that way.The knife sheaths are not top quality however, they work. A top quality one would cost more to buy the leather and materials than the cost of two of these knives.

Tracker knife at a great price.
Great low cost trail knife. Super sharp out of the box. Scabbard is adequate and well assembled. Definitely worth the price.

The sheath is garbage, great knife
This is a beautiful knife, doesn’t feel to balanced but overall very sturdy, came pretty sharp. The sheath offs absolute garbage, knife arrived and 2/23 at 1300. Sheath broke at t1500 with just carry no use. I’ve taken two stars off because it’ll cost more than the knife to make a sheath but all in all the knife itself is an excellent buy for the money.

What are you looking for?
Preliminary review- It is difficult to decide how many stars to give it, because expectations vary so much. If you are expecting the quality of a $250 Tops Tracker, then make it one star. If you are expecting (as I was) a $14 project knife from a large country in Asia, then make it 5 stars. The packaging is a plain cardboard box. The knife had to be cleaned out of the box. There was a small amount of rust on the edge. The steel is obviously not 8cr14 as displayed on the amazon page. If you actually want to use this knife, get tooled up, you’re going to do some work. The knife seems like a nice piece to modify to your liking. The edges are poorly done so I’ve started a complete re-profiling. The wood scales seem to be good quality and I will do some re-profiling of them just to suit my needs, not because they need it due to some flaw. The notching blades are sharp. The blade steel hardness can be estimated based on it being just a bit softer than my Nicholson file, though a diamond file cuts better. If you want a better quality tracker with this blade length, i don’t know what to say, I could not find another of any quality, only longer or shorter, lighter or heavier.

Five stars considering the price
Looks good. The nose geometry is a little funny because it's so stubby, but it's a nice size. The sheath is some sort or heavy duty pleather. It's not that junk vinyl you're uses to seeing, but it is artificial. The knife arrived serviceably sharp. I honed it enough to shave with within a few minutes. I don't know what kind of steel this is and I haven't spark tested it, but from just observations it feels like a high carbon steel, whether it's 1095 is up for debate. It's not heat treated or hard enough for a file to skate over it smoothly, but a file sure doesn't dig in. It's kinda right there with the hardness of the file, or just shy of as hard as a file. This isn't bad, it just means you want to pair this with a diamond sharpening rod or stone in case it needs touched up during your adventuring. NBD. Those ultra hard magic steels are often too hard to sharpen in the field and they've expensive.I originally bought this to knock apart and make a template from so I could make my own, but it's too good a knife for that. I paid $14 and it'd be a bargain at twice the price.

Great knife for camping
When I went camping, my knife was a little dull; I did sharpened it but I decided to get another one. It took some time but the tracker knife was what I decided on. It's great on the grip and I love that's it's also a functional knife. Also enjoy the leather sheath it came.

Moldy Sheath and knife nor finished
Crappy finish and mold on Sheath when it came in. Grinding on knife not complete one snap dosen't stay shut straps differt length had they finished the knife and did a decent Sheath it would be a good knife seems sturdy and handle fits good. Just not finished and crappy Sheath

Not worth the money
I wanted to like this knife. I was intending to try out the "trapper" pattern, but I ended up with a project on my hands. The sheath is poor, the fit and finish is rough, the sharpened edge needed work to be up to a standard quality you might find in an outdoor store. All in all I guess you get what you pay for. It is cheap, and it shows.
