This frame seems very strong and sturdy. Our only complaint was that there are some little feet you gave to screw in and they were challenging to get in the holes to level the bed. This would not detract me from purchasing again; just good to know.

We have a really cheap, but none the less nice four poster bed that had been in storage for years and nautarly by the time we pulled it out, the rails were no where to be found. So we winged it- as I'm sure some of you have- and created a Franken bed that was truly terfying and held together with rope and bad ideas. It took awhile to find and fund replacing the rails and we picked this system out of the lineup. It was easy to put together and its sturdy. I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth and I would recommend this to anyone facing a franken bed situation.

I bought this to use for my master bedroom but it didn’t work out the way I needed it too. It also arrived in a severely damaged box. But it wasn’t terrible.

I live in an old house with uneven floors. Getting my bed level has been a nightmare. We bought adjustable feet for our frame, but they seemed to only lift the corners of the frame, and gave me a sleeping in a hammock feeling. I love this frame. First, it is not an adjustable frame, it is bed size specific, which is what I needed. Those adjustable one size fits all frames have a tendency to bow where the adjustable part comes together. No, I need solid metal all the way around. Great center support too. And plenty of legs that adjust. I think every leg is adjusted different, that's how bad my floor is. The only small issue is that the threaded adjustable feet are threaded very long, and we had to cut them down or they stick up and you can't lay your box spring down. We cut the center ones down about an inch or so, and the corner ones just poked holes through the fabric of the box spring. No biggie, but if you don't have the tools, it might be a hassle. I could have made the bed higher to avert that, but it would have been too high for my liking. Overall, a good product. Solved my uneven bed issue.

The set up was relatively easy but the instructions really offered very little direction. Delivery was ok.The bad part is that it arrived in a very torn up box that looked like it had been opened before. That was reflected on the inside too. All the plastic ties were cut, some of the bolts and nuts (most really) had rust on them. the frame itself looked like someone tried to assemble and stopped as it was in fairly pristine condition. The instruction sheet was stuffed in like an almost forgotten item when they packed it back up.

We purchased this bed frame for a new mattress and box spring for my son's room. I didn't want to get anything that would take time to put together. The intent was to pull it out of the box, do some simple steps, and be done with it. This isn't exactly what happened. The instructions were easy to figure out how to piece this bed frame together. Basically, you line each piece up and push down. Metal clamps lock into place and sturdily hold the entire assembly together. It can also be disassembled just as easily.It might take a little elbow grease to fully assemble or disassemble, but overall, it's a lot easier than using multiple tools and pulling out a bag of parts. This is where the easy part ends for us.We ran into problems with the width of the frame. The headboard, footboard, and box spring did not comfortably fit this frame. All of these items were about 1/8" too large. The box spring was manufactured by a different company than the bed headboards. Both the box spring and the headboards matched in terms of width. The component that did not match was this bed frame. It took one person with a pry tool and another for additional muscle to bend the frame out on each end so the holes matched the headboard. Additional prying was necessary to get the box spring to drop down into the bed frame. Overall, it took about an hour to get the headboards mounted and the box spring in place. I said to my wife, "If we ever move, I don't think I want to go through that again!" It was a lot of work with multiple failures and creative thinking on how to get this frame bend out to match the headboard holes and box spring width.Now that everything is in place, the frame works great. So I'm dinging this product two stars, which is probably generous considering the sweat involved in getting the bed in place for my son. Just be aware, you might find your bed components will be a very tight fit for this frame. Hopefully we just received a frame that was marginally defective in terms of its measurements. I sure don't want to see anyone else go through what we went through.

Mainly, we didn’t realize that slats or a box spring would be necessary, so that is an inconvenience and added expense. Also disappointing when we tried to sleep on it the first time without slats or a platform. It was difficult to level the legs. We ordered this style so we could attach it to an antique headboard, but the brackets we ordered from another company are flimsy. So this will be an ongoing project, not necessarily all the fault of the frame, but they really need to stress the need for slats in the information.

I had been looking for a truly heavy duty queen sized bed frame for some months. Compared to this one, the prices were on average 50 percent higher and their definition of 'heavy duty' consisted of a cross rail in addition to the otherwise open rectangle shape of the frame. The Malouf is a heavy beast, but goes together in seconds. The height adjustments are made on the six extremely heavy duty bolt derived fixed feet (no more rug rollers for me...need the stability...that said, this setup is easy to move regardless). The frame rails are significantly thicker than our original 'heavy duty' one (finally broke) and the centre frame rail goes the longways and is a double width piece of steel. OK, enough gushing..this thing is built like a battleship. Plus, they enclose a small wrench to make the height adjusments. I have a hip revision coming up (replacement of a bad hip replacement) and need both the strength and the height in order to facilitate my recovery. This is definitely the item. My hat's off to the manufacturer.

I would recommend this to anyone needing a solid lifetime frame.Update...finally assembled with new pair of king box springs and Novus foam Aria. Wow...what a combination for ultimate in sleep comfort...only trouble is the frame is 3" longer than the box springs! I think I was shipped a cali-king frame? It causes front to back sleep-set movement and a shin bump hazard. Wish there was a convenient fix...maybe the mfg will send me the right size and I can return this one in same packaging???Lifetime warranty????

The size is slightly narrow than the adjustable of the same MALOUF. Initially place in error but was bulky to return once opened.However, this one is sturdy and last since purchase. Minor complain on the leg that easily come off when shifting (NOT an issue if you don't need to rearrange bed often). All other cheaper MALOUF adjustable broke.

Easy to assemble, solid sturdy bed frame.It comes with only one set of legs though are adjustable in height, they are not rolling, and do not appear to be a size that you can find rollers for. Great for use on hardwood floors.Price was also reasonable for good quality construction.

This is a great bed frame, easy to assemble and very sturdy. It was packaged very securely and delivered to my home reasonably fast. I will be buying a second one shortly. Thank you!
