Amazon Basics Faux Fur Sofa Throw Blanket, Not Heated, Soft Bed Throw, 150 x 200 cm, Ivory

I bought this throw for my new sofa to protect the sofa from my 1 year old holy terror of a cat who hasn't learned not to scratch furniture yet. My other, older cat is trained to only use their scratching posts. Since I have recently moved house money is tight until I finish the house. So, while I actually wanted to buy a Woolen Arran blanket (at almost £120) I bought this Amazon's BASIC throw instead thinking 'well If it doesn't look good the dog can have it to cover his bed'. When it arrived I couldn't believe the quality of it. It is very soft, cosy, larger than expected and I looks really great covering the sofa. It is excellent value for money. The only issue I do have with it is it doesn't hang all the way down to the floor (I have arthritis in my knees so my new sofa is quite high to make it easier for me to get up off) and, while it covers the tops of the arms it doesn't hang down to the floor at the side of the arms ~ but it is STILL larger than I thought it would be ~ so, it is leaving the side of the arms bare and the very front of the sofa bare - and therefore open to attack from Prince Lestat De Lioncourt the cat - I have had to cover these area with another 2 throws that I already had which make if look a it mismatched. That said, I am going to buy another 1 of these same 'Amazon Basic' throws and sew one half of the new one to expand the width and the other half to expand the length. Nobody will know it is 2 throws sewn together because there is no pattern and my mother has a computerised machine that makes sewing thick fabrics like this very easy so, if you don't have that type of sewing machine I would not recommend trying this yourself. It will look exactly the same albeit larger. For a normal height of 3 seater sofa I would not need to do this. It is a pity I have to cover my new sofa AT ALL since it is very stylish and I decorated the living room to match the retro style of the sofa but, this throw is so nice in appearance and so soft that it still looks great. Once my youngest cat has learned not to scratch the sofa I will use it as a bed throw in my guest bedroom. Very happy with my purchase and have no idea why it is labelled as 'Amazon Basics' since it is excellent quality on the front and on the back lining.. I definitely recommend this throw for cosying up on a cold evening , for protecting a chair or sofa and for on a bed in a Boho style bedroom. 5☆

I'm really surprised this is listed as a frequently returned item. I am writing the review now as I am intending to order another couple, having purchased 1 last year to give it a try as a spare for throwing over myself on the couch. I have loads of throws draped for aesthetic purposes but wanted one I could actually use without having to reposition everything and this is beyond what I expected for an Amazon Basic item. It feels so soft and silky, looks much more expensive than it is and is soon warm. I've always shied away from. These types of throws because they can look really cheap in my opinion if not well made. This does not. The issue I have now is that I adopted a cat and she's visited all the throws and claimed this one so I want a couple of spares for me and any visitors over the winter. I would definitely recommend, it adds a touch of luxury for a non luxury price and will become your (and your pets) new fav throw!

Big, heavy, cool and luxurious. Keeps us cool in the summer and cuddly in the winter. Washes very well. In our case had to fight the cat for it

I bought one on the strength of reviews and I was not disappointed. The weight and quality of this blanket are superior to others I’ve looked at for three times the price or more. Exceptional value and a throw or a top layer on a bed. I’d highly recommend this. The size is perfect as a top layer on a uk double size bed. I ordered it in ivory which is a nice neutral colour and goes well with most of my other things. Very soft.

Beautifully soft and luxurious to the touch. Light weight and quite thin but that's fine for me, ideal spring and autumn cover. My main problem is the size, It maybe a king size 150 x 200 but there is no hang over so more a double or large single. For the price it is ok, and makes a good sofa throw rather than a bed cover. Just wanted to add that I have bought another of these :) It is such good value and so nice that I wanted another for my guests when they stay, and I couldn't possibly give them mine......it's mine! Further comment: When I purchased this throw it was £23 and not I see the price has risen to £35 which is a 54% increase, this seems a bit much.

I just needed a throw - the evenings are drawing in and I am as tight as a gnat's chuff when it comes to putting the heating on, so with a good throw I should be able to get near to Christmas before my gnarled fingers approach the thermostat. This throw looked okay, was very large, and was cheap, so I spaffed £22 on it and figured it didn't have to be amazing to justify the price. But what I received was SO MUCH better. Akin to a throw my ex-wife bought from John Lewis for £60, except that this one is even softer. Surely it is made of kittens! And big, and weighty, so that it provides a great deal of warmth to go with its softness. It is the sort of opulent throw that would be in a Cadbury's flake advert, with a fine young thing reclined and ready. And, of course, it is pathetically undersold - AmazonBasics is all about okay quality at great prices - I often buy AmazonBasics but not because I get quality like this. This is just terrific. Recommended, obviously

Die Decke sieht in Wahrheit schöner aus als auf den Shop-Fotos. Sie hat etwa das Gewicht von dünnem Leder, fällt aber weicher. Das Fell ist relativ kurz und kuschelweich. Die Rückseite hat die Anmutung von Velour. Dicht und fein gewebt. Die Farben weichen von den Fotos etwas ab. Das Fell kommt weiß heraus, mit nur einem leichten Beigeton (helles Wollweiß). Die Rückseite ist in einem sehr hellen Braunton gefärbt, etwa wie braune Eierschalen. Ich habe die Decke als Tagesdecke gekauft, auf der auch die Katzen schlafen. Wie sie sich mit Haaren und Staub verhält und wie gut sie sich waschen lässt, wird sich herausstellen. Immerhin ist sie überhaupt waschbar, was bei ähnlichen Produkten nicht selbstverständlich ist. Update: Meine Seniorkatze bleibt mit den Krallen bei jedem Schritt in der Decke hängen, die ist für ältere Tiere also nur bedingt geeignet. Leider.

Es buenísima, cáliday muy suave. El tamaño es perfecto, vale incluso para una cama grande de 1,35 y para el sofá es ideal también. Pesa un poco, algo que para nosotras no es un inconveniente porque nos gusta, pero ha de tenerse en cuenta. Voy a pedir otra para regalo.

Il prodotto è molto ben fatto. L'effetto pelliccia si vede bene, è morbida al tatto, "pesante" e calda. Rispetto ad un plaid standard le dimensioni sono maggiori e si adatta bene anche ad un letto matrimoniale, per il divano è perfetta!! Il rapporto qualità/prezzo mi sembra più che ottimo (considerando anche articoli similari) Sono molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto! Faccio solo un accenno per lodare il servizio clienti di Amazon, ho avuto un problema con il corriere (SDA di Poste Italiane, pessimo!) e nonostante Amazon non avesse alcuna colpa o responsabilità ha cercato di risolverlo come poteva e mi ha inoltre rimborsato le spese di spedizione. Bravi!!

Ich habe die Decke seit Mai/2023 und schreibe erst jetzt eine Bewertung, weil sie einfach spitze ist. Sieht immer noch aus wie neu. Immer noch kuschelig und kein Pilling o.ä. auf der Unterseite. Wir nutzen sie überwiegend zum Zudecken beim Fernsehen. Ich hab die Decke auch teilweise zum Schlafen genommen, ist ein Traum, weil so sangt und weich auf der Haut ist. Als Zudecke bestens geeignet. Wärmt auch, aber überheizt nicht. Die Decke hat auch ein schönes Eigengewicht was für mich für gute Qualität spricht und ich pers. es mag wenn die Decke etwas Gewicht hat. Empfehle sie zu 100% weiter für diesen top Preis. Ich hoffe, ich konnte helfen. Update: heute haben wir Januar 2026 und die Decke ist immer noch im Gebraucht und sieht weiterhin super aus. Keine Abnutzung sichtbar. Mittlerweile habe ich noch die Decke in Creme zugelegt. Und bestens zufrieden. Werde mir noch weitere zulegen zB um die Decke dekorativ über das Bett zu legen und auch zum Schlafen nutzen, falls es doch mal zu kalt sein sollte. Auch zum Verschenken bestens geeignet. Da ich unten eine Rezension gelesen habe, dass die Decke im Trickner verknüllt war etc. Kann ich nicht bestätigen. Bereits mehrfach schon in der Waschmaschine und Trockner gewesen. Ohne Probleme überstanden. Wie gesagt, Mai 2023 gekauft und Januar 2026 immer noch im Einsatz und null Verschleißerscheinungen! Kein Pilling o.ä. Siehe hierzu das Foto. Wurde gemacht am 27.01.26.
