Bee Suit for Men, Full Body Beekeeper Suit with Gloves and Veil M

I just used this today as soon as it was delivered. I have been battling a Yellow Jacket Ground Nest. Ugh!!! I advise having a friend "zip you up," as it is hard to get everything around your neck area properly zipped and secure by yourself. But........the quality was WAYYYYYYYYY better than I even expected for the price! I expected a paper-like material, but it is a heavy canvas material! Gloves are great, too!!! I believe I obliterated the nest, and this made me feel very secure! No stings!!! I am TERRIFIED of bees, too!!!!!!!

I’d leave 500 stars if I could. Had a yellow jacket nest the size of a basketball in my shed right over the door. I figured a cheap bee suit is better than no bee suit right? I wore thick jeans and a sweatshirt under it and duct taped the cuffs to the gloves and the ankles to my boots. I then Exorcised the Demons with zero stings. They were angry and bouncing off the hood and stuff but no stings. If I had to be picky I’d say size up one or two sizes if possible. I’m not skinny but I’m not obese either and the XXL was barely big enough. I wear an XL shirt size and was able to wear thick jeans and a hoodie under it but it was tough to get into. The torso of the suit is somewhat short. Also, there’s zero stretch or give so be mindful when you squat or bend over. Just saying, it would rip in the last place you want yellow jackets. All in all I’m still here, sting free with a shop vac full of soapy yellow jackets. We will call it a win

Just what I needed. I had yellow jackets in my garage and am allergic to their stings. I tried setting an insect bomb and sealed the garage. Tried spraying also from a distance and that didn’t work. Afriend of mine suggested getting the bee suit to try as it would be cheaper than a an exterminator so I ordered the suit. I used the suit was able to find the nest and it was huge so I disturbed it and dozens of bees attacked me. The suit was perfect protection and I was able to destroy the nest. I would highly recommend this suit. Fabric is sturdy as are the zippers. The gloves were great and stingers would not penetrate. They were also flexible enough to navigate. Will use again and again if occasion arise.

Pay special attention to the stitching. There was a hole where the stitching was missing the zipper. I hand stitched it because I had to get near a very active hornet nest inside a building to eradicate it. The suit worked. The torso fit was a little short but it worked for the intended need.

Purchased to take care of some European hornets we had on our back patio, ended up also using it to help a friend who is allergic to bees and had a nest outside her office. My fiance has used it multiple times now and did get stung once, but we discovered it was likely because he didn't have the sleeves tucked all the way inside the gloves. But being surrounded by thousands of bees, one sting isn't bad!Very sturdy material and well worth the price!! I'm sure we will get more use out of it! He is 6'1 and it fit great and the think material protected him and was comfortable but was hot.

GREAT BEE SUIT, VERY WELL MADE

Great inexpensive bee suit. Worked well while dealing with a large yellow jacket nest in the soffit. They were coming at me and trying to sting pretty aggressively. The suit protected me well and I never felt a thing. I would suggest wearing a ball cap to keep the head net away from your face, that worked well for me.

Very durable good buy.

Nice loose fit and vevery ury light material to keep you cool zips are also long for ease of in and out.

This was an affordable product from the range of bee keeper outfits. It was fit for my purpose.l used it for gardening/ weeding whilst the bees were out. ( l had been stung twice on the head prior to this.)It is also protection from mosquitoes.l would recommend larger size to give you flexibility in movement.

Definitely not for any "professional" bee-keeper with at least one hive.Quality is ok if you stay away from bees and don'tuse it. Bees can sting straight through the fabric. Bees can also sting through the gloves.Fabric tears easily. I needed to stitch ip a 4cm tear in the veil after only the 4th use because it let a bee in to buzz around my face.Consider other options.
