B310 Unlocked 4G/LTE Super Fast Wi-Fi Router- Genuine UK Warranty stock (non network logo) -White

I am amazed!!! I live in a very rural area and our broadband speed is anywhere between 0.5 - 4 mbps going up and down throughout the day. I work from home so obviously this has really impacted me in a negative way. I've contacted several companies over the years to see if I can get an alternative broadband, e.g. satellite. Either they don't get back to me or say they don't provide that in my area. I have looked into 4g before but seemed to think it's not reliable. So at my wit's end I thought I will still try it. And I am so glad I did!!! Through the B310 I've now got a steady 30 mbps and am over the moon about it!!! No antennas, no external device. Literally just the router, placed by a window (as our house has got very thick walls so the window sill is where it gets this good reception). The installation is SO EASY. You literally insert the simcard, plug it in and it's ready to go. Can definitely recommend!!! The only thing I am wondering if it's safe to leave plugged in 24/7? Will it overheat? I have left it plugged in so far but if anyone had the answer for me I would be very grateful!

This is a great modem for the price tag and frees you from contract on broadbands. Absolutely no setup required and you are connected to the internet with the SIM inside. It's wise to change the admin and wifi password. However, I had to turn mine after 9 months as it stopped working and required frequent restarts as most reviewers complained. I got a replacement from Amazon and turned off all updates on the new one and hope it does not get faulty.

After suffering 0.6Mbps down 5km of copper for years I finally opted to go for wireless broadband. Well impressed with this router - using two lengths of wire hanging out of the window and the mast 5km away behind a hill, it still managed to get 48Mbps at best, dropping to 20 during peak periods. Mounted an external antenna now it now peaks at 68Mbps! As for reliability - it has been running faultlessly for the past couple of weeks and, as with most things electronic, if it is going to fail, it is usually in the first 24 hours. Wi-fi around the house is great falling to good around some corners (cottage with 18" stone walls).

I have this wireless router and I live in central London with strong mobile signals on all networks. Its easy to set up, and fine for normal web browsing, However, its not fast enough to stream video / movies ... it just seizes up and buffers. Even normal resolution, HD is worse, and 4k - forget it... Additionally in my case, for some reason the ethernet cable at the back of the unit does not work. So overall, not a great purchase... maybe worth trying a newer / more expensive version ?

Simple set up and good performance, does the job!

We have lived in this rural area for 21 years and have suffered poor download speeds throughout. We are connected to a telephone exchange which uses hamsters in wheels as its motive force and so, this device, with the addition of an EE Sim only 50GB card has transformed our lives. Speeds in excess of 20Mbps are the norm now. Hoorah!

Bought this to use at home, I wanted a mains powered device rather than a battery driven unit that I had already. Very easy to set up this router once you have a sim, I bought a 3 sim with a good contract. My old ISP was Sky which provided me with 2Mbs internet connection speed, to be fair to sky other providers couldn’t give me a faster connection. I now have at least a 30 Mbs connection which is brilliant. The simplicity of installation was a real bonus. So far I have nothing but praise for this device.

Using this on a narrowboat. Works a treat.
