My wife broke her foot. She wears a hard cast from her toes to her knee. It's bulky and a miserable ordeal. If you get it wet in the shower, be prepared to go back to your orthopedist/podiatrist and have the cast cut off and replaced. Who has time for than nonsense? Keep the cast dry! Want to shower? Do not try using a garbage bag with a rubber band; it will leak if used as a stand alone solution. Your cast will rub on the bag and on the floor and water will find a way in from above or from below. My solution was to cover my wife's leg with a garbage bag and then to use this disposable reusable cover for double coverage. The garbage bag prevents the hard cast from tearing/abrasion of this cover. Each cover lasts through 6-8 showers but will eventually leak due to tears or stretching the leg opening. You get two in a pack and the plastic is thin but is actually effective at keeping water out. The stretchy opening allows you to fit it over the cast and pull it up over your knee. As I said before, the garbage bag helps to prolong the life of this cover. Don't spend too long in the shower as the thigh opening is stretchy but does fit snugly around your thigh and does restrict blood flow - but it is also tight enough to keep out water. After all, it is all about keeping the cast dry.

I had Thumb surgery and saw this on line. Amazing product! Fit, Size, Quality, EASE of use on & off is great!! I got the 23" length and they are reusable!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product to anyone having a cast/large bandage that needs to be waterproof!! It is wide and long and works 100% !!!!! I could put the cover on and off by myself, its that easy!!

The reusable arm cover worked as advertised. providing a tight seal around the elbow in keeping everything dry however, the hole was a bit too small, making it challenging to put on with some pain overall it did the job well

I had my doubts about those products, was pleasantly surprised how well it performed. We had to put it over a very wide cast and I did not think it would’ve tight above the cast- it was! Everything stayed dry. Was easy to remove and is reusable. Very happy!

Very handy after foot surgery. I had a bandaged foot rather than a cast but this allowed me to protect my foot while showering and provided a good waterproof seal. The only thing I didn't expect but should have was the condensation in the bag that made the cast padding feel a little damp. To do again, I might've wrapped a towel around my bandaged foot then put it in the cast cover. I reused them without any issues. I even used it to take a bath, getting in the tub before filling it and propping up my foot on the edge, then draining the tub before getting out. Forget trash bags or bread bags - these were worth it!

Terrific product. Easy to put on without any help and kept everything dry. They are reusable; lasted about 5 showers before the opening where it fits snugly around your upper arm started started to loosen up. For extra security, I wore them under a top layer of Water Resistant Arm Cast Cover for Shower, Cast Shower Bag for Wounds and Bandages, Injury Protector for Adults, Surgery Recovery Supplies, Large Arm Cover (a permanent top layer secured by velco). It probably wasn't necessary to have the two layers, but it was super quick and easy to put them both on, with no help, using my non-dominant hand. Comfortable, stayed in place, kept everything dry. Highly recommended.

Couldn't believe how well these worked! I'm an adult male and these went up to my bicep. The opening was snug enough to be waterproof from just past my wrist but they are long so I pulled it all the way up. Was able to reuse each one 3 times without any water getting in. They definitely have plenty of room for a cast with room to spare.

I had to cover my lower leg for six weeks after ankle surgery to protect my initial dressing and later on my cast. Assuming that these bags will wear out quickly I bought a whole stash of them. In fact, I ended up using only two of them without eve wearing either one of them out completely. The enclosure of the leg within the bag held up remarkably well although I used them every day to take showers. You can use trash bags that way and save a few bucks that way but it is cumbersome--in my opinion these bags are worth the price that you pay for them, saving you quite a bit of hassle in what is a challenging situation to begin with.

Great product. Good price and worked really well. I am 6ft1 and had a heavy bandage on my elbow, almost like a cast. This covered it well. Easy enought to get over the dressings, but a bit of a squeeze the first couple of times. Absolutely no leaks, even with the shower spraying at full power. Sometimes get some condensation building up inside if in the shower for >10 mins but this is entirely natural given it's waterproof. Thoroughly recommend.
