Manager's Toolkit: The 13 Skills Managers Need to Succeed (Harvard Business Essentials)

I am teaching a course on administration and have selected this book as a text. It is a very good overview of what a manager in most organizations needs to know. It is not the definitive text in any one of the fields it covers, but it is a great one book source to cover a wide range of management issues.

This book is ok, but I would recommend to look elsewhere for a better source of information. It covers the bare essentials but not in depth. I used it as a refresher course from college and it worked fine.

Worth reading. A rehearsal of our past experience for further fine tuning. To see inside of ourselves in business environment this is a good book.

Highly recommended for new managers. The book had good insight with many tips for dealing with people in any business. Easy to understand.

This book was an assigned reading for a leadership course I am taking as part of my M.S. The skills sets it teaches have enhanced my management options and abilities. Decision making is improved when viable options are presented as they are in this text.

Nice book, good for budding management students, provides a standard framework of operative performance which can be adjusted according to personal requirements and needs, plus timely delivery and excellent packaging alongwith book condition was more than satisfactory, would recommend it to all who are aspiring to get in management field
