The ottoman size is great—not too big, not too small, pretty light. I checked its measurements before ordering and compared the height to our living room furniture to ensure a comfortable level for resting feet. The round style is attractive, and I plan on ordering a round serving tray for the top. No toxic smell. Although, the box the stool was shipped in had a huge warning for DEHP. California Prop 65 warnings seem hard to avoid. You can buy used furniture and possibly face mite or germy issues too. It is a sad state of affairs. The dark red color was a bit of a surprise. We have cherry red couches. The ottoman red is close to Falu Red: hex code #7B1818. Assembly is simple: take 10 minutes to screw on the feet.

In the picture, you can kind of see the size of it in relation to the furniture. It was a perfect match for my front room and I love the amount of storage inside. I keep it between two chairs, but it is so big when I pull it to my couch I can lay down and it’s a very large extension off of the couch. I’ve been able to put in it a half dozen books and a few blankets and there’s still a lot of room left. It’s solid and sturdy so I can sit on it if I need to and very well-made. Other than the feet there’s no real assembly. It’s a really nice piece for the price.

I bought this I guess it’s going on five years ago. I bought the green. It is such an excellent piece and I love it. It holds a ton of stuff. It’s sturdy enough to sit on, put your legs up, or in my case, for grandkids to climb all over. It’s really a good size diameter wise. I would buy this again in a second and actually, I might buy a second one to put in my bedroom.

This is so cute! Very sturdy. Good quality. Easy to put the feet on. Has a good sized storage space for blankets.

Chose this ottoman for a few reasons. 1) storage. 2) looks good. 3) spent a little more money hoping i would get a better product. Its a great ottoman. Mid size...not super small like a foot stool and not huge like some ottomans are. Like the round shape. The material is good and well assembled, no split seams or missing parts. Only thing you need to do is screw on the legs. The storage is good for 2-3 blankets and a pillow or two. If you're using it to put your feet up be mindful that it may be of equal or slightly higher than your couch or chair. I don't find this a bad thing as its still comfortable. Just keep in mind that its not foot stool height. It seems well made and very sturdy. In fact, it can be rather heavy! Glad I spend a little extra money for a good mid-grade ottoman. IMO no need to spend more than this unless you want something bigger and no need to spend less unless you want a piece of junk.

I ordered 2 of these exact ottomans 7 years ago for about $100 each from Wayfair, I think. I love the color and the storage. It is a very sturdy piece of furniture. That said, for some reason, one of the 2 started deteriorating around the rim of the lid, peeling off on the edges. Just the one, for some reason. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon last week. I nailed the order when it was on sale for $65, more than worth the price! And I'm happy to report that the color hasn't changed at all and matches the much older ottoman I have.

Even though I'd read many of the reviews and looked at photos and measurements, this ottoman is much larger than I expected. Two children could easily sit side-by-side, and two adults sitting on my love seat could prop their feet up comfortably. It appears carefully made with good fit and neat stitching. There is plenty of storage room. The inside measures 20.5 inches across by 9.75 inches deep for a volume of 1.86 cu ft. The only thing that prevented a 5-star review is that the inside bottom seems made of thin material that won't support a lot of weight and may sag with time. It could be perfectly adequate for things that don't weigh much like pillows and blankets but it did diminish my overall perception of quality. In contrast, the top feels very substantial and I wouldn't hesitate use it as a low seat. The color is a little darker than the online photo but perfectly matches my red pillow, and adds a nice color pop to my apartment. For the price this is a very good value and I'm happy with my purchase. UPDATE - almost 6 years of constant use prompted me to upgrade from 4 to 5 stars. It hardly shows wear, still looks almost new and there's no inner sagging as I'd feared. Just a few tiny holes poked when the cat jumps up on it, that can't be helped. Truly love it. This turned out to be a great buy. It is the ideal size, color, shape, height, and material. I have no complaints. I was unsure about the color choice and size, but I could not have done better. This goes perfectly in my den. It is paired with a small sectional and serves as a coffee table. It also doubles as a footrest for the person who is not on the chaise part of the couch. I keep my favorite blanket, which is extra large, inside and there is still room for more. The form, function, and fashion of it all are spot on. I'm so glad I took a chance on this ottoman.

Would have been great if it were the right color. I have dark brown leather furniture and it's obvious that this ottoman is black.

So pleased with this ottoman. It’s the perfect size with ample storage space for two blankets. The colour is very accurate to the description and photos and a good imitation of leather. It ties in beautifully with my living room and provides a nice pop of colour beside the fireplace. This ottoman can’t be beat for good value!

I love this ottoman. Unfortunately I needed more colour in the room and a bigger ottoman. I would highly recommend it as it looks good and is well made. I should add it is the second one I have purchased and I kept one that fits in better in another room.

Love the look of this in my vanity room. Lots of storage that I so needed.

I am enjoying this ottoman. The round shape makes it easy to get around and it has a generous storage area. We purchased a round bamboo tray to place on top to hold our drinks and there is still room to put our feet up. The colour is a soft green which goes well with our other furniture. All in all a good purchase.
