What a fantastic bit of kit
Where to start 🤔 ok Comfort it fits beautifly, it's very.light weight you don't realise it's in your head even with the extra weight of my helmet cam it's still very light weight Looks very stylish and is good to wear This helmet has a few different setting (in the app) fit the lights "would liked to of seen a few more settings for the lights It's comes with a controller that you put in your handlebars to adjust the volume take calls and control the indicators tho I would suggest still using hand signals to You can make and receive calls a touch if a button on the controller will accept or reject the call There are 2 speakers built into this helmet that sit just above your ears I listen to the radio via my phone on the way into work and you can still hear the traffic around you There is an app on the usual places you get your apps Android or IOS Also the app does connect to the strava platform Yes this helmet is nearly £100 and I couldn't justify paying that amount for a cycling helmet but with Amazons installment pay plan it is under £19 a month for 5 months this was why I bought it I would highly recommend this helmet for any cyclist

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Extremely lightweight, good quality and great safety features. It looks very nice and fits perfectly. Touch wood, I won’t be put in a situation where I get to find out just how good it is at protecting me, but, I definitely feel as though it would do a great job. The only thing I will say, is the chin strap makes no sense and took about two days for me to figure out. I don’t like the design of that one part, it’s quite uncomfortable. But I can overlook it. I would say it’s worth the money. Definitely recommend giving it a go. 👍🏻

SAVED MY LIFE!
Since purchase in August 2018, I have ridden just shy of 3000 km with my Livall BH60SE and I’ve ridden long rides in terible conditions and this has performed brilliantly. In December 2019, I was involved in a massive crash, landing pretty much head first onto tarmac at nearly 50 kph! The helmet did its job and it is no exaggeration to say that if I wasn’t wearing a helmet I would be probably be dead! LIVALL have agreed to give me a replacement FOC, but if they hadn’t I’d 100% have bought another one. Reviews of the “smart” features suddenly seem less important than this product’s core function......safety on a bike. IT SAVED MY LIFE! When I initially bought my Livall Smart BH60SE, I originally left the below review, but have since regularly used the phone functionality and can report that this works very well. (For those that want to have their rides ruined by the wife, work, etc!) I can also report that my concerns over waterproofness seem to have been unwarranted, as the smart features have worked brilliantly throughout some pretty rubbish weather. (Smart features still work on the (now unusable) helmet which whilst is cracked following serving its primary purpose of saving my head at the time of my crash. Still not using the Livall app to post to Strava or listen to tunes, but at the time of my accident (on a very quiet and dark country road) the functionality of calling my emergency contact worked without fault. (This did however cause panic and frustration from my wife who was in a complete panic state and I needed to spend time calming her down to assure her that I could get myself to hospital, so be careful to chose your emergency contact wisely!) Original review from August 2018: My expectations of this products features were reasonably low and after being "told off" by the wife for spending the thick end of £100 on a helmet, I was worried that this would be a gimmick which was tricky to justify. I commute 32 miles a day and this thing kills the boredom, allowing me to listen to my favourite tunes safely with the ability to easily mute the tunes in traffic. (The ability to take calls is currently untested, but if this doesn't work too well I personally don't care, as cycling is supposed to be an escape from the pressures of modern day life!) I would say that if you prefer to listen to Spotify than iTunes then it is best to disallow access to your iTunes library on your phone. (It was annoying that pausing Spotify and then resuming playback [on the remote control] resulted in the phone automatically recommencing playback from my iTunes library when playback restarted.) People who have said that the sound quality is poor (on other reviews) must be very picky, because I feel that the sound quality is pretty much perfect. I don't wish to have the volume too loud anyway, as this defeats the object of listening to tunes safely on a push bike! I'd also be too self conscious to be blaring music out as I ride, as I would feel that I looked an idiot! The lights are not the brightest, but good enough for low light conditions. The indicators work well, but I wouldn't trust other road users to expect this feature. I would always stick out my arm just in case! That said it is a good feature in the dark. I've not had another rider with a device to test the "walkie talkie" mode, but the concept is great and look forward to possibly using this in the future. The only criticisms are as follows: Syncing with Strava is a little sketchy. (For example when it synchronises from the app, Strava thinks that I've been for a run!) Integration is not 100% and I have found it best to ride with Spotify and Strava and not bother with the Livall app. (But to be honest using Strava and Spotify is perfect for me and the Livall BH60SE works fine without using the bespoke app provided by Livall.) Swapping the remote from bike to bike is a small faff, but a spare remote costs £30. Not sure how waterproof this thing will be in the winter months. Manual says not to get too wet, but not sure how practical this will be once the British winter sets in. The remote is not rechargeable and time will see how much of a faff it is to change the remotes batteries. In summary, the ability to safely play my tunes and kill the boredom of my lengthy commute. The product works great with Strava and Spotify and this all justifies my purchase. I would recommend this product to anyone commuting on a bike, but would avoid the Livall app as it is simply not necessary.

Great idea and quality with a few niggles.
The helmet fits well and is comfortable on my head as is the chin strap. It also looks pretty stylish. The lights are ok but not very bright in daylight so I don't use them and don't cycle at night. I connect my phone to the app to check my route and progress and to listen to music as I cycle. The app and phone pairing is quite erratic. Sometimes it pairs immediately and other times it takes a few times to pair. The music quality is only satisfactory. It has a very tinny sound with almost non-existent bass but is ok and I can still hear car coming from behind. All in all, for me it is better than a basic cycle helmet but the cost is a little high.

Love it!
I think it is a great product! The leds are not too bright so for daylight it is not too good, but at night it is great! One time a car stop at my side to talk about the indicators and how handy it is. I didn't test the durability and I hope I don't have to, but it felt down from desk or hands couple of times and didn't even scratch. The bluetooth it is great and work good. Good volume of music that doesn't block the noise of the trafic but let you heard what you are listening. Battery last around 6 hours and can be charge from 0 in around 1 hour or hour and half. The only problem is that the usb is not standard so if you lost the cable ( like my case) you will need to buy a new cable.

Not brilliant
Ok, lets go through the various features of this bluetooth cycling helmet. First of all as a safety helmet. Yes, it is comfortable, easily adjustable, fits a wide range of head sizes and looks like it would give a fair amount of protection if you were to hit your head. Secondly, as a bluetooth phone and music device. I found it somewhat useless at this. It paired to my phone easily and the bluetooth features work. But that's about as good as it gets. The sound from the inbuilt speakers is terrible. Extremely tinny and much like an old transistor radio. It's also fairly quiet, and if you try and turn the volume up to a reasonable level then it just all distorts. If there is just a little bit of traffic, then you can't really hear it at all. The same issue with making calls although the other end did say they could hear me ok but with a lot of interference like wind and traffic sound. Thirdly, you have lights and indicators. They all work and the helmet detects when you slow down or stop and does a different sequence of lights on the back of the helmet to show you are stopping. But, during the day, the lights are barely visible and you certainly could not guarantee other people will see them. They are fairly visible as the day starts turning to night. I also found the indicators annoying. Once you switch a turn indicator on, you cannot switch it off and just have to wait for it to finish flashing which is about 10 seconds. So if you inducate to turn left and change your mind to go straight on, you cannot turn the indicator off. At least, I couldn't find a way of turning it off and the manual was next to useless. I did try google maps to navigate and the navigation instructions did come through the helmet ok albeit tinny and a bit quiet. On the whole, I would not really consider this value for money. You are better off with a set of ear buds for the bluetooth features and a reasonable safety helmet can be had for under £30 that would equal or exceed this one. All the other features are really kind of gimmicks that really don't hit the mark of what they are supposed to be used for. I was kind of disappointed and can really see me just using my ear buds and wearing this purely as a very expensive safety helmet.

Serves its purpose well.
I bought this helmet as a spur of the moment purchase after having initially only been after a basic black bike helmet. After a bit of research I was intrigued by the features of this helmet. Like many other reviewers I was sceptical as tomwhether of not this was overkill in terms of features - at the end of the day it's just a helmet. However, when I charged it up and tried it out I was pleasantly surprised. The indicator feature is a nice addition but not one that I will use given the fact that motorists rely on hand signals as opposed to flashing indicators on a helmet to know where cyclists are going. The best feature by far is the ability to make calls and to listen to music on the go. Indeed, the sound is not Bose performance but it's good enough as you still want to be able to hear what is going on around you. I've had no issues since using it. For me, the only downside is the price as on the face of it, it doesn't look any different to a standard black helmet. But then again, there are many helmet brands such as Kask that have very high price points. Overall, a decent product. It serves it purpose well, is comfortable and the added features are a real bonus. Recommended.
