GREAT Replacements for 18 year old BOSE Speakers in a '07 Corvette ...
LOUD & Proud ... these speakers replaced the 18 year old Bose speakers in my '07 Corvette. Easy enough to install - there was some "custom" wiring to be done - but - I used a OEM adapter for the crossover adapter & then decent 16 gauge copper wiring between the Base/Mid & Tweaters coming off the crossover. Immediate improvement in sound - the drivers side Bose speaker was on its last legs anyway - the voice coil was on its way out (buzzing) - thus - immediate improvement in volume & sound. Also used other Cerwins to swap out all the 18 year old BOSE Speakers ... just a FYI ... don't just change one set of speakers - splurge & replace ALL your speakers - you'll be GLAD you did ...

These were installed as my rear speakers on an suv. I am using HPF filters and they sound incredible!

Wattage max and rms are both lies
I had a cheap Sony 4 channel amp barely cracked open to about ¼ and it blew all 4 speaker the tweeters somehow managed to still be salvageable but I threw them away as well. What happened to Cerwin Vega? They use to make a great product.

Using these in a custom VirtualPinball Cabinet, Running off the (80Wx2) 2.1 sound boards also sold on Amazon. I was skeptical at first but was impressed with the sound. I grew up with the original Cerwin Vega subs although they may not be the same quality today, These are a great value for the $ money $. Fairly low profile design, so they could fit into almost any car audio installation. Decent crossovers and they even come with GRILLES! That was a major bonus for me! I would consider trying the 6"+ versions in our trailer this summer!

Great sound
these speakers I used for a custom Bluetooth stereo running 12v. sound awesome... if you build the boxes solid enough the drivers deliver a nice full range of sound. I'll buy again when I make another!

Love Cerwin products!
I love Cerwin products however their car audio is junk. This set didn't even last 3 weeks, with a tiny little Audison Amplifier. I moved to DS18 speakers and dang! No issues and great sound! And did I mention a ton cheaper?
