I have zero experience with an indoor grill. Bought two inexpensive steaks from Target, grilled low and slow, with the result of a very tasty steak that was easy to cut and chew. The steak cooked thoroughly without charring but with a bit of a sear (you can sear it more if you turn up the heat at the end). I think they tasted better than grilling outdoors for some reason. It's simple to set this up, put water in the water pan, plug it in, and pop the steaks on the grill. Let the grill heat up first as instructed. Being able to grill steak, hamburger, chicken, sausage means I can cut down on buying out, so in the long term this is a money saver as well as an excellent grill. I see no negative issues with it other than, as an inexperienced grill-ist, I would have loved to have some recipe ideas along with the instructions. It was ABSOLUTELY smokeless while still catching the scent of grilled steak. Clean up was relatively easy; I let the grill soak in water for just a minute, then used a Scrub Mommy, and there was not a brown spot remaining.

It’s very difficult to express just how impressed I am with this little grill. I was skeptical before I placed the order, but I’ve had it for almost a year now and it has been absolutely phenomenal. I don’t know how it makes food have such a charcoal grilled flavor when there are no brickets, no flame and only water added to the tray. Somehow or another it does a wonderful job. Honestly, and I do mean honestly, food taste better on this little grill that it does on our huge outdoor Weber- natural gas grill that we have on our deck. I know, I wouldn’t believe it either, but honestly, it’s the truth. This little grill is phenomenal, it cleans up really easy. It produces no smoke but yet gives a wonderful smoky flavor. It produces wonderful sear mark lines. We have cooked kebabs, burgers, chicken, wings, chicken breast, salmon, all turned out wonderful, absolutely phenomenal. The grate that you set the food on is truly stick free. The food does not adhere to the grate making it difficult to remove. This is really a phenomenal product. Truthfully, the people at Weber should really be concerned! Highly recommend.

I'm fairly impressed with this electric grill. It's better than pan frying steaks or chicken on the stove and does a good job on vegetables. It's never going to be a charcoal grill which is why you're reading this, right? But it does a decent job of grilling inside where you don't want to set your fire alarm off every time you get the hankering for something from the grill. Easy to clean. But I wouldn't abuse that feature. Make sure you put water in the pan to make it smokeless. Well, pretty close to smokeless. I wish it got a wee bit hotter, but it's ok. Take your meats out of the fridge a while prior to grilling. Not too long so as to jeopardize food safety, but let them adjust to room temps a bit. For some reason the temperature dial on the side gets hot, but I just unplug the cord when I want to turn it off. I've read negative reviews about the length (shortness) of the cord. I think they got that one right. It's fine. You don't want a cord so long you or someone else is accidentally knocking over a hot grill (with a pan of hot water) due to a dangling cord. I do, however, wish it had a cover. I use an upside down aluminum foil lasagna pan which works ok. A few little tweaks to the design and I would definitely give this one five stars.

Really good grill. For when i dont feel like cooking and cleaning on my charcoal grill. Takes longer to cook but the overall cooking experience is great.

So let me first say I have used this several times now I have had it for several months now. This works so well when I say me and my kids have truly enjoyed this this is one of the best purchases I have made and I wish I could make another one and have one at work and I might get one for work. But when they say it is a smokeless indoor grill believe that follow the directions the instructions it is not hard this is so great I have even used it outside and I just use an exterior extension cord I've used it outside it does not smoke at all we watch movies outside while I grill burgers and I just felt like the bomb.com so I will say that I the thing that I like about this is because I'm not comfortable using a regular Grill yet I don't want to have a hazard happen so this was perfect for me as a when to start out with my grilling adventures and it is amazing.

I like it but it truly doesnt get hot enough even on the highest setting it takes forever to cook anything. Ive used this for chicken, veggies like zucchini and summer squash, and other meats. It leaves some faint grill marks. Its good for the winter time. It has a decent size surface area and its simple to clean. Its ok.

I just received this item and used it as soon as I could wash it and preheat it. I marinated chicken breasts in anticipation of receiving the grill. It is so easy to use. It's a perfect size and price. I wanted something simple to operate and easy to clean. It grilled my chicken perfectly then I took the grill piece when it cooled and put it in the dishwasher. It cleaned up beautifully. It's not bulky so I found a spot in the kitchen to store it because I plan on using it a lot. I do all the cooking and grilling and I was tired of running outside to the big gas grill while trying to do the inside cooking as well. I can grill in the winter now, too. It was entirely smokeless because of the water tray under the grill. I wish I had bought one of these sooner. The cord is a decent length, not like the really short ones, so you can move it away from the wall a little. There are just two of us so there is more than enough room for our needs, and plenty of room for more.

Easy to use. There is no smoke and very little spatter. I did a steak and some vegetables on it. Did everything at same time, lots of room. Nothing sticks to it. Didn’t even put in dishwasher, used a little dish detergent and ran hot water over it. Clean in under a minute.

I have tried the indoor grills by Gotham Steel and Hamilton Beach and this one puts them to shame. Large surface area. Smokeless- be sure to follow instructions and add water to the drip tray. Easy to clean - again be sure to follow the instructions and avoid using a cooking spray.
