Bought 2 for each side of desk. Great amount of light and 3 different settings for how much light you need. Recommend if wanting a desk lamp that does not take up a lot of space.

I have been looking for an LED desk lamp that has a good array of lighting modes and decent illumination.The MAGIC LEAVES Desk Lamp with LED Dimmable lighting is a nice solution.Not only does does this desk lamp look modern with its slim, piano-black form, but it has two things that I really appreciate:1) It has a nicely designed, black circular weighted base (instead of a compression screw type clamp that has to install along the edge of a table top).2) It uses a regular plug in cord for power (instead of a USB cord to Power Block that seems to be the current trend).I really like that the controls are conveniently located at the lower part of the light base.There are arrows for adjusting brightness, a power on/off, a 60 minute timer that shuts the light off if you fall asleep, as well as 4 lighting modes that correlate to light temperature : Reading mode, Study mode, Relax mode and Sleep mode.The reading light provides for 5 levels of brightness.When not needed, this sleek lamp folds up into itself for space-saving storage.I found the performance to be great for all lighting needs, and appreciate the ergonomic layout of controls and its weighted base.About the only change that I might wish for, would be that the light housing, support arms and control panel enclosure be made out of a heftier (Matt black anodized finish) aluminum, instead of the lightweight, glossy black plastic used.To me, the high gloss, lightweight black plastic has a look and feel of cheap manufacturing, and the (much appreciated) weighted base contrasts with the lightweight housings that just feels like it needs more substantial weight.If this LED desktop light had used metal in the manufacture of the arms/light enclosure, then I would have assigned 5 Stars, but performance-wise, it would still be a high 4-Star product!

I use it for bedside lighting. It is so easy to use, and flexible. The selection of lighting is a nice feature as well. I have no complaints as yet.
