I purchased at least a half dozen products to battle a lice infestation on my two and a half year old son. This product was the most effective and best smelling so far. I like that the instructions direct parents to continue using the hair spray for several days after the initial application instead of waiting 10 days for a "second" application.I purchased a different hair spray product for myself that proved ineffective. While he has been lice free for several days, I am still attempting to irridicate these horrid little bugs from myself. I will be purchasing this product again for myself and keeping a second unopened box in the medicine cabinet as my "go to" should we have to battle these awful pests again.I love this product's scent! I just wish it came in larger bottles in order to treat multiple people at once! I also purchased a tear-free dandruff shampoo for him which advertised that it was also effective as a lice preventative. (I had to because the first lice treatment I purchased dried out his scalp and it did not kill all the lice nor nits!) And Burt's Bees All Purpose Ointment has been a great repellent/imobilizer on his body as well. This combination with Little Bugs has proven it works for my little one!Thrilled with this product!

After treating my kiddo twice with Nix, without success, I was skeptical about a magical mint serum. It seemed too easy, but two rounds with this stuff & we are cootie free. Details below.The serum is thick & gooey, with a soft mint scent. It stains fabric, like a grease or oil, so don’t use your good towels. Directions are simple: saturate hair & scalp, wait 15 minutes, shampoo hair 1-2x to remove serum, towel dry, use 15-20 pumps of spray, wait 5 minutes, repeat spray & wait 5 again, comb out cooties, rinse hair, repeat process in 7-10 days.After washing out the serum, I used the spray liberally & let it sit for 10 minutes. I figured 5+5=10, so why not? Instead of using the included comb, I used the Nit Free Terminator, which I do not regret. I was surprised by the number of critters I combed out & ecstatic they weren’t moving. With Nix, they were still moving. I repeated this entire process 2 additional times within a span of 7-10 days, which ended up being unnecessary. The 3rd time yielded nada. Yay!All in all, I recommend this product. I hope to God none of my kids come home with lice again, but if they do, I know what to get!

Bought this to have on hand for my granddaughter who is in daycare, better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. I read the reviews and it sounds like a great and gentle product.

The product worked, though I think it was returned from a previous customer, as the box was slightly ripped. And also, the inside packaging was definitely touched. At first I tried giving the outside appearance the benefit of the doubt but the inside packaging confirmed. I still used it as I was desperate.

Try this. Stop wasting your money on Nix and ruining your hair. I have two daughters with long thick hair. We had a huge ordeal last year where one brought it home we cleaned, and then as soon as everyone was lice free, the other brought it home. I had to find something that wasn’t so harsh on the hair. This worked wonders. Just know it’s gonna take a good few washes to get it out of your hair. I always “safety” treat my hair if my girls come home, and I feel okay about using this vs Nix.

Omg ! I would give this product 10 stars if I could. My daughters caught head lice in school. After multiple attempts, buying different product at my local pharmacy and nothing seemed to work. I came across this product here in Amazon. I read the reviews and although still skeptical I bought one for each and wallllaaa problem solved after one treatment. And trust me I went through many products and this one finished the critters with one treatment . It really really works! I am a real mommy who struggled and finally can breath and say we are critter free. Can’t thank this product enough .

Happy with results. I had done the regular lice treatment that I got from the store, but didn't see results. The nits were still there and head waa itchy. I cut her hair short too before treatmentUsed this twice and followed directions and it worked. Since it is chemical free and natural I didn't mind leaving it on my daughter's hair. I did not find any lice but she had some nits. Not sure how there can be nits without lice but it is what it is. Smells good too. I highly recommend this treatment.
