Does what it says, it defiently clarifies your scalp. My hair feels slightly dry but defiently cleaner and a really good wash. i combat dryness with ultra moisturizing conditioner, applying to whole head. smells really good and ive been using to strip color before hair dye, so far so well. not expectingit to lift my hair, but myhair gets progressively more blonde undertones from this black box dye and i see it getting lighter.

This has seriously helped my hair health! My hair has been growing a lot and it looks shiny and feels soft. This shampoo has helped overall with greasiness as it helps remove build up. It has become an essential part of my hair care routine. A little goes a long way and I use it 1-2 times weekly so it has been lasting me a while, making it worth the cost. It makes my hair feel so clean!

My daughter is 18yrs old and has light brown hair that gets oily at her roots pretty quickly. She knows that washing your hair everyday is not good for dry ends...BUT this shampoo really works to keep the oil at bay. I am a cosmetologist and have really studied many different products and being her age she never wants to listen to my advice but eventually she will ask me for products I told her about, b/c then it's her idea haha!!! Anyhow the clarifying is just as good as the more expensive brands. Also, as with any clarifying product do not use it "too often"... Using clarifying shampoo too often (more than once a week or every other week) strips hair of essential natural oils, leading to severe dryness, breakage, frizz, and dullness. It can also cause itchy, flaky scalp irritation and accelerate color fading. It is meant for infrequent "deep cleaning" to remove buildup. My daughter loves this specific clarifying shampoo because it enhances her color vibrancy, and it leaves her hair feeling fresh, lightweight, and bouncy. If you're on the fence just give it a try...you don't need to pay big bucks to get the same results. (1st photo is when her hair hasn't been washed for 2-3 days, and the 2nd photo is after she went back to her natural color and started using L'Oreal's clarifying shampoo)

I love the product. It works very well with removing excess oils or scalp gunk that has built up from products. My hair feels great after use and looks shinier. I just wish they had packaged the product better for shipping. My bottle opened during shipping and it covered my whole shipment.

We definitely have hard water at our house. My hair was starting to get build-up that just wouldn't resolve, even with rotating among several different shampoos. I decided to try this clarifying shampoo, and I like the results. While it is lathering I can feel how it's working with the water, instead of against it. My hair feels lighter and less weighed down by residue. It's more versatile to style with the removal of the built-up mineral deposits. I'm about to color my hair, and once the color sets for a few days I'll carefully try this shampoo. I don't expect any issues with using it with fresh color. It will be interesting to see how the texture is affected after the coloring instance. Hopefully, it will leave my hair feeling soft, yet with a good amount of body.

Honestly I was ready to return this item because I felt so unclean due to the lack of sulphates/suds. But, once my hair was dry, it was soooooo clean and soooo soft!!! I could be biased because I use k28 bond repair after, but I use that with other shampoos and it never feels this soft, clean, and bright. Give it a try, it’s pretty affordable. Smell is very strong but I think it smells amazing!!

I bought this because I noticed my hair was getting greasier quicker after just washing it. I have very fine, curly hair that I wear straight 99% of the time. I was sick and tired of washing my hair every 2 days because it was greasy, and having to go through the whole process of styling it so often. I use this as the first step in my hair care routine every time I wash it (usually 1-2x a week). I love that it does not dry out my scalp or leave my hair feeling dry and brittle. Since I use so many products on my hair, I find that it really helps clean out all the buildup while also being gentle. L'Oréal, in general, is a fantastic brand, and I trust their ingredients and formulas (they also make professional-grade hair products). All in all, I find this product to be extremely effective, and it makes my life so much easier, not having to wash and style my hair so often!

este producto es la maravilla, salvo mi cabello en mi viaje a mexico, donde me quedaba el agua era dura y me volvio el cabello como un pegote horrible, eso si, no recomiendo usarlo diario porque reseca el cabello sobre todo las puntas, lo use de 1 a 2 veces a la semana y complete con otro shampoo

This clarifying shampoo works great. I have hard water that leaves my hair dull and gross feeling. After using this shampoo and conditioner one time, the buildup was gone and my hair was soft and shiny again. I also love the scent, it’s not too strong, just a nice clean smell. I will definitely buy this product again. Works great!

El agua donde vivo esta horroroso y este shampoo me quita la sensacion de pelo pesado pegajoso, no tengo tanto tiempo usandolo pero me encanto por el brillo que me deja y huele super bonito :))

If you hate waste hard water does to your hair, this is the shampoo and conditioner to that will fix that. My water is so hard that even wet, my hair felt like straw. I wake up in the morning looking like Medusa. I could feel the difference in my hair as I was shampooing it. I could finally run my fingers through it even before conditioning it. Once conditioned, and dried my hair is so light and soft. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who has hard water. It smells wonderful, and it is reasonably priced.

I have never used a clarifying shampoo before so I don't have much of a basis to compare. I will agree with the other reviews that this shampoo does leave the hair feeling a little dryer than my regular shampoo, it is also a much thinner consistency and more needs to be used to get it to lather. The scent is fine, no offensive but also not memorable. My regular shampoo smells better, but overall I am very pleased with the purchase. I've only used it once so far, so only time will tell if my review changes, but so far I am quite pleased.
