tl;dr: great for basic movements and beginners, a cost-effective and reliable tool that will serve you well for years. Intermediate to advanced lifters will want to upgrade to a bell with powder coating.This was the first kettlebell I bought. There were no seams or burrs out of the box. It has served me well for the last four years. The coating held up pretty well, with just a few chips and subsequent rust spots near the bottom of the bell. This is to be expected from pretty much any well-used bell and doesn’t affect use since the handle coating is still 100% intact. It’s great for short sets of swings and Turkish get ups, which is what most beginners start with and stay with for months if not years.It’s not recommended for higher-rep ballistic work (snatches, longer sets of swings), because the coating will either: (1) stick to your hands too well when they’re dry, causing excessive friction and callusing; or, (2) become very slick once it gets wet with sweat, creating grip control and safety issues.

Got two 45lb kettlebells for my home gym. Packaging was excellent and bells arrived with no damage or cosmetic issues. Finish looks really good and should last for a long time. One minor issue is the bottom of the bell. The mold seems to create a small blemish on the bottom and when the bell is sitting on a flat surface it “rocks” a bit. This is no big deal to me for my home gym, but may bother some. To me, it’s a big chuck of metal for lifting and swinging, so a slight rocking on the ground is no factor. Handle is comfortable and provides a solid grip.

Wanted a kettlebell for a while and finally got one for a good price too. This one is durable with a nice grip and plenty of room on the handle for both hands. Love the plain black color with the shiny finish. Elevates my home workouts for sure.

Good price for a kettlebell that seems sturdy enough to last for a long time. I took a star away bc there are obvious "seams" that run along the handle and the inside of the handle is not uniformly smooth. One side feels like it didn't get coated like the rest of the kettlebell. This is not my first kettlebell from Amazon, and the list paid I purchased had this same issue. I was hoping it was a bad batch of kettlebells, but that purchase was made years ago so I guess it's a thing with this product. So far it hasn't stopped me from doing any exercise or left and splinters, so it's just something to note.

It’s a kettlebell. Not much much to it. It works well. The quality is good, the finish is nice and simple, and the weight appears to be accurate. The grip is still metal, so it can get slippery. Use gloves or keep a nice grip and you’ll be good. 👍

Great kettlebell at a great price! It can be hard to find kettlebells priced for about $1 a pound but AmazonBasics seems to always have the best deal. I like its grip, it is easy to hold onto compared to other kettlebells I have used in the past. It has taken a few dings from dropping on metal but it still holds up well. I look forward to buying a second.

This kettle bell was just as I expected. The bell is painted and provides good grip while working out. I do feel a slight ridge where I hold it but it doesn't affect performance. It is not jagged. Overall I thought it way a good quality kettle ball at a reasonable price. I've used it for over two years.

Es una pesa muy bien hecha, básica en su diseño, pero muy buena y funcional.2. Puede que en situaciones de manos húmedas se te pueda llegar a resbalar, dado que el barniz recubre toda la pesa, pero no es algo grave.3. El precio es muy bueno si lo comparas con el de las tiendas de deportes u otros vendedores de Amazon USA que aparte te cobran bastante por la importación.En general es una gran compra y vale la pena!

The painting done on the kettlebell has some minor scratches and in some areas the paint has come off, but the overall product quality is very good and it serves the purpose very well.

Use it on daily basis as a bigger to weights.
